Extended Day

Before and After School Care

Our Before & After School Programs offer students enriching opportunities for discovery and exploration before and after the regular school day hours. These programs provide numerous fun options while reinforcing the essential lessons and values taught throughout the school day.

From the simple pleasures of sports and games to the more complex STEAM and engineering projects – students will receive a one-of-a-kind experience they’ll look forward to each day.

Our Extended Day program allows busy working families the flexibility to drop-off before the school day starts and pick-up after the regular dismissal time. Our program is organized into five subject areas designed to provide your child with opportunities to learn valuable life skills, reinforce the skills they’re learning during the school day, and provide plenty of time for fun with friends.

MOEMS aims to foster a love for mathematics by introducing key concepts, innovative problemsolving strategies, and developing creativity and intuition. MOEMS offers engaging contests from November through March featuring unique problems and detailed solutions. These contests provide a stimulating and rewarding experience, significantly enhancing students' problem-solving skills and deepening their appreciation for mathematics.

Sagemont Prep VEX Robotics Competitive Team

Grade Levels: 3rd - 5th

Join the Lion Innovators, Sagemont Prep’s competitive VEX Robotics team, and dive into the exciting world of robotics, innovation, and teamwork! Designed for motivated 3 - 5 grade students, this program offers hands-on experience with building and programming robots while preparing for this year's VEX IQ challenge, "Mix and Match." Team members will enhance their problem-solving and critical thinking skills, collaborate with peers, and compete in multiple Saturday competitions across South Florida. This is a unique opportunity to grow as innovators and represent Sagemont Prep with pride. Invitation Only

Environmental Club Grade Levels: 3rd - 5th

The Environmental Club aims to increase awareness of environmental issues and provide opportunities within our community for students to develop responsibility, take positive action, make an impact, and protect and improve our environment for the future. Students in grades 3, 4, and 5 are invited to join the Environmental Club. Once selected, students will be required to attend regular meetings to discuss topics, participate in classroom educational lessons, and perform community service as a part of the program’s mission and vision during the school year. Meetings are held on the first Wednesday of every month

Program Fee: $50

Cubs Table Talk Grade Levels: 5th

Cubs Table Talk is a signature experience for our fifth grade leaders. This talk show style speaker series allows students to take the lead In collaboration with our Head of School, Ms. Nelson, these young hosts craft thoughtful questions that uncover the drive, grit, and passion behind each guest’s journey. The program offers students a meaningful opportunity to engage with inspiring individuals, reflect on their own aspirations, and develop as communicators and leaders. Selection for the Cubs Table Talk crew includes an application and interview process, with applications opening in September

National Elementary Honor Society, N.E.H.S. Grade Levels: 4th - 5th

The purpose of this reputable organization is to recognize students for their outstanding academic achievement and personal responsibility, to provide service to the school and community, and to develop leadership skills in the students of elementary schools. Membership in a local chapter is an honor bestowed upon a student. Selection for membership is by a faculty council and is based on outstanding scholarship and responsibility Once selected, members are responsible for continuing to demonstrate these qualities and participating in chapter activities to build experience and improve skills in leadership and service. Meetings are held on the second Wednesday of every month. N.E.H.S. is by Invitation Only. Program Fee: $50

Safety Patrol: Grades: 4th - 5th

The Safety Patrol program is designed to promote safety and responsibility among elementary school students. The safety patrol members are responsible for assisting their peers during arrival and dismissal times, as well as ensuring orderly conduct in hallways and on campus. They serve as role models by exhibiting proper behavior and emphasizing the importance of following rules to ensure the well-being of all students. By participating in the Safety Patrol, students not only gain a sense of leadership and community service but also contribute to a secure and organized school environment. This program instills values of accountability and teamwork while fostering a culture of safety awareness within the school community. All 4th-5th students will have the opportunity to participate in Safety Patrol Registration is not needed.

Monty's Morning Show Grades: 4th - 5th

All 4th and 5th grade students participate in Monty's Morning Show program The show is broadcast live each day throughout all grade levels. As the show's leaders, students are responsible for all aspects of the production, including digital set design, lights, scripts, writing, etc. Students collaborate to write the daily script, provide technical support, and act as news anchors. Monty's Morning Show is a fun and powerful way for students to participate in leadership roles and share their positive school values with peers. All 4th-5th students will have the opportunity to participate in Monty's Morning Show. Registration is not needed.

Flag Duty Grades: 3rd

Elementary flag duty involves a group of students who take on the responsibility of raising and lowering the American flag at the beginning and end of each school day. This duty holds a symbolic significance as the flag represents the unity and values of the nation. Students who are selected for flag duty are seen as respectful and responsible individuals, entrusted with the task of handling the flag with care and adhering to proper flag etiquette. This duty not only instills a sense of patriotism and pride in the students but also teaches them about the importance of honoring national symbols and participating in civic responsibilities from a young age. All 3rd grade students have the opportunity to participate. Registration is not needed.

Sagemont Preparatory Chorus Grades 3 -5

Join our exciting after-school chorus, open to all 3rd-5th grade students who love to sing and perform! Meeting twice a week, our chorus will explore a wide variety of musical styles and genres while developing vocal technique, music literacy, and stage presence. Students will have opportunities to perform both on campus and out in the community, sharing their talents and spreading joy through music.

Being part of the chorus helps students build confidence, strengthen teamwork and discipline, and deepen their music appreciation, all while having fun and making new friends!

Program Fee: $150

Group Piano Lessons PK-5th Grade

Join us for an exciting and interactive afterschool group piano class designed for students in PreK through 5 grade. Meeting weekly on Wednesdays and Fridays, this class offers the perfect blend of individual piano practice and fun group activities. Students will develop foundational piano skills, music literacy, and rhythm-all while building confidence and creativity in a supportive, social setting Whether your child is just beginning or continuing their musical journey, group piano is a fun and encouraging way to grow through music. th

Mrs. Rush will conduct auditions to determine class placement and ensure students are grouped appropriately by experience and readiness.

Taste Bud Travelers

Grades PS - K and 1 - 3rd st

Creativities Studio

Our young chefs will embark on a delicious journey around the world! We'll whip up recipes from their favorite books and TV shows, such as Harry Potter and SpongeBob Squarepants. We'll travel to Italy for a hilarious funny-face pizza party, head to Japan to learn the art of sushi-making, then to New York to bake NY-style individual cheesecakes. From mixing and measuring to decorating and tasting, our classes are designed to spark creativity, build confidence, and foster teamwork and curiosity.

Program Fee: $225 Fee & $50 Material Fee, every 2 months

Pickleball

Grades PS - 5th

Teacher: Ms. Calderon

Pickleball is the perfect blend of fun, fitness, and focus for students ages 5–10! This high-energy class helps children build coordination, motor skills, and concentration through engaging drills and friendly team matches. Beyond physical activity, students learn valuable life skills like discipline, teamwork, and sportsmanship all while having a blast. Whether they’re new to the sport or already active, every child will benefit from the confidence and focus that pickleball inspires.

Program Fee: $200, every 2 months

Chess Club

Grades Preschool - 3rd *Grouped by skill level

ChessArt Kids

The main objective of this program is to use chess as a tool to improve your child's self-confidence, imagination, concentration, and intuition while developing logical, critical thinking, and reasoning skills. The course follows a complete project-task curriculum approach and has appropriate activities according to the student's age and level! The Chess Club fee includes virtual classes and competitions once a week. Program Fee: $215, every 2 months

Disney Magic Makers

Grades Kindergarten - 3 Grade rd

Teacher: Ms. Leal

In Disney Magic Makers, students will step into the magical world of Disney through music, storytelling, crafts, and imaginative play. Each week, we’ll explore a different Disney favorite and its characters, students will then engage in hands-on, creative activities that celebrate important values like kindness, bravery, and teamwork. Students will learn songs, create themed crafts, and engage in fun group games and activities that spark imagination, build confidence and creativity. This is the perfect enrichment opportunity for Disney lovers who are ready to learn, create, and shine all while having a magical time. Program Fee: $200, every 2 months

After-School Enrichment Programs

Broadway Bound

Grades Kindergarten - 2 Grade nd

Teacher: Ms. Leal

In Broadway Bound, students will step into the exciting world of musical theatre as they learn what it means to be a triple threat combining singing, dancing, and acting all in one dynamic class. Each week, students will build confidence and creativity through fun performance-based activities that explore the foundations of the musical theatre world. Students will also discover what goes on behind the scenes including how shows are cast, rehearsed, designed, and brought to life on stage. Broadway Bound is the perfect stage for them to express themselves and shine like the stars they are!

Program Fee: $200, every 2 months

Florida Fire Soccer:

Grades Pre-School - Kindergarten, 1st - 3rd

The Florida Fire Soccer Club is a family-oriented organization committed to helping each player learn, grow, and passionately love the game of soccer. It is dedicated to developing character, integrity, and personal growth for the youth player, student-athlete, and future leader. It serves the community with a continuing tradition of fun and excellence in developing players, coaches, and teams. The Club features development and skill training for boys and girls of all ages, as well as the development and continuing licensing education for all of our coaches. We always welcome volunteer opportunities within our Club or to provide community service within our city. Our organization is committed to developing every player to their highest potential and encourages players to compete at the highest level of their ability. Supported by an active and involved board of directors made of active Firefighters, Paramedics, teachers, local business owners, and career Soccer Coaches. Our highly trained staff is experienced in educating and motivating players, parents, and our staff to provide the best soccer experience possible. We focus on quality over quantity! That’s the clue to our SUCCESS!

Nexplore Science:

Grades Pre-School - PreKindergarten

Wacky Science: Young scientists explore fascinating scientific concepts through hands-on, messy, and wildly fun experiments. Students will learn about chemical reactions, surface tension, magnetism, and more sparking curiosity and scientific thinking in every class. This program encourages children to make predictions, observe outcomes, and connect cause and effect.

Little Doughnuts (Science + Sensory Exploration): This special version of Wacky Science introduces sensory-rich learning through fun, squishy experiments using doughs, foams, and molds. It supports the development of fine motor skills and early STEM thinking in a playful, hands-on environment tailored to the youngest learners

Nature Watch: This nature-inspired science program allows students to explore the wonders of the natural world. Topics include plant and animal life, weather patterns, ecosystems, and the environment. Each class offers a balance of storytelling, real-world models, and nature-themed crafts or games to bring science to life for young learners.

Science of Superpowers: Inspired by superhero science, this program taps into students’ imaginations while teaching real-world scientific principles. Students explore concepts like flight, strength, invisibility, and more through engaging experiments and challenges. Perfect for encouraging creative thinking and introducing basic physics, biology, and chemistry in a kid-friendly way.

Jewelry Making

Grades Kindergarten - 5 Grade th

Get ready to shine! Our upcoming Jewelry Making Enrichment Program is designed especially for elementary-aged students who love to create and express themselves. In this fun, hands-on class, students will explore basic jewelry-making techniques using safe, age-appropriate materials They’ll design and craft their bracelets, necklaces, and keychains while learning about patterns, color theory, and fine motor skills This creative program encourages imagination, builds confidence, and gives every student the chance to take home their unique handmade creations.

Giggle & Games

Grades PK - 3 Grade rd

Teacher: Ms. Lugo & Ms. Leal

Giggles & Games is a joyful enrichment program for children from Pre-K through 3rd grade, centered around the fun and learning that happens through board games.

Students will build social skills, practice critical thinking, and strengthen focus and teamwork-all while laughing, playing, and enjoying screen-free time with friends. It's learning through play at its best!

Program Fee: $200, every 2 months

Creative Clay Creations

Grades 1 - 5 Grade st th

Teacher: Ms. Prieto Sanchez

Get ready to roll, pinch, sculpt, and mold in this exciting hands-on Clay Creations class! Young artists will explore the wonderful world of clay through fun, guided projects that spark creativity and build confidence. Students will learn foundational techniques such as coil building and pinch pot methods, while also experimenting with texture, patterns, and form. Each session provides opportunities to explore the wonderful versatility of clay. Projects may include animal figurines, mini vases, and imaginative sculptures.

Through this engaging class, students will develop key skills in: fine motor coordination, spatial awareness, creative problem-solving, artistic expression, patience and perseverance

Perfect for beginners and young creatives alike, Clay Creations is a fun, educational, and tactile experience that encourages students to get messy and make magic with their hands!

Swim

Grades K - 3 Grade rd

British Swim School

Is your child a strong swimmer or eager to explore the world of competitive swimming? Whether they’re already confident in the water or just beginning to consider joining a swim team, this is the perfect opportunity to take their skills to the next level. Join our Swim Enrichment program and train with Coach Cassie, our Varsity Head Coach, who brings experience, energy, and a passion for developing young athletes. Practices are held Tuesdays through Thursdays from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM, offering focused technique development, endurance training, and a glimpse into the life of a competitive swimmer.

Program Fee: $250, every 2 months

Sagemont Prep’s competitive athletics program offers 4 - 5 grade students the opportunity to grow as athletes, build leadership skills, and represent their school with pride.
