CURRENT GROUP TRAINING PROGRAM ASSESSMENT OBSERVATIONS • There is only one class of KATA BOX. We will add more because KATABOX is very popular in other gyms because it is a total body workout.

• Why is there SPINNING BOOTCAMP and BOOTCAMP SPIN – what is the difference between the two classes?

• Why is there CONDITIONING and BODY CONDITIONING – What is the difference?

• According to the note at the bottom of the roster, when members come 10 minutes late for class it will be cancelled? How does this benefit the client?

GROUP TRAINING CLASS DESCRIPTIONS SPINNING: A cardiovascular workout done on a special stationery bike.

45 minutes session is an intense workout that burns fat, tones legs and improves stamina

STEP: A workout that uses a height adjustable step platform to condition the leg muscles and improve endurance. The sessions are highly choreographed.

CARDIOBOX: Our own version of Katabox. A cardiovascular workout inspired by Billy Blanks‟ Tae-Bo. Imagine Tae-Bo with an African feel to it! An effective full body workout.

BODYCONDITIONNG:A free flowing class that is ideal for beginners.

It uses many tools such as matts, dumbells etc. to provide a full body workout to participants.

Hi-Lo: Stands for Hi Impact Low impact workout. This means there will be jumping to fast music. Not recommended for the faint hearted PILATES: a low impact session that is recommended for those that have posture problems and want to improve muscle tone. Pilates will lengthening and balance weak muscle.

CROSS TRAINING: It is like Body Conditioning „on steroids‟. At least that is what our members keep telling us.

YOGA: the oldest form of exercise.

Very soft and mindful workout for all fitness levels. It stretches and tones the body and leaves participants relaxed and rested depending on the type of yoga

In February we invite you to take good care of your HEART. HOW? By reducing your Waist Circumference (Size of your Waist).Hence we call it the #LoveHandle Project.

GOAL: The size of your waist is a very important indicator of your RISK for Cardiovascular conditions such as Heart attack, Hypertension and Diabetes.

Research indicates that even in people who are within their healthy weight range. If their waist is too large, they still are at a high risk of suffering from cardiovascular Diseases.

#LoveHandleProject aims to help staff have a healthy HEART by reducing their waist size.

WHO IS AT RISK? Come measure your waist during the Wellness Week and check your risk profile MEN : more than 102cm is High Risk WOMEN: more than 88cm is High Risk
