We are glad to say that this issue, the first for us in 2020, is just as fascinating to produce as our very first issue back in September 2010. Indeed, we are celebrating ten years of Annapolis Home Magazine! There are so many different architectural expressions of historic and contemporary homes and gardens in Annapolis. What makes Annapolis distinct from all other cities is that its finest architecture responds to the Chesapeake Bay. Every year, more and more talented professionals open their doors, influencing the scene with their own artistry. In fact, Annapolis’ design scene is growing, and we are delighted to not only be a founding member but also to bring this scene right to you. This month, leaf through our pages to find an article on one of Annapolis’ most visible houses, located on Compromise Street, across from the Annapolis Yacht Club. We have been fond of this four-square for many years. We didn't know who owned it but have always considered it a part of Annapolis’ unique visual streetscape. Our story tells a fascinating tale.
