Energy Recovery Ventilator (ERV)

The ERV brings fresh air into your home to ensure it’s not only efficiently heated and cooled but also has controlled humidity and superior air quality.

Low E Argon Filled Windows

Dual layers of Low E glazing and filled with Argon gas, the windows reduce heat loss and gain, delivering superior comfort, less condensation and even protects your homes interior from sun damage.

Air Sealing

Careful attention is paid to the fine details of air sealing the entire building envelope using polyurethane foam, acoustical sealant and high performance adhesive tapes to ensure a high air tightness level and save unwanted heat loss.

Insulated Garage Doors

Insulated garage doors further reduce drafts and heat loss in your home. The bonded insulated sections make your garage doors stronger.

Attic Insulation

Your home has R60 insulation in the attic. This insulation dramatically reduces heat loss.

High Efficiency Heating Systems

Using a combination of the most efficient heating and cooling systems throughout our product line, Heathwood will incorporate systems that are up to 96% efficient and use up to 80% less electricity. This combination will include Natural Gas forced air systems, and Air Sourced Heat pumps. The best system and right sized for your home.

Spray Foam Insulated Garage Ceilings

Proper application of the correct insulation means you don’t have to worry about cold floors over the garage, assuring maximum comfort and energy savings.

Sealed Ductwork

By sealing the duct joints of our heating and cooling system, we maximize the efficiency of the systems airs circulation for better comfort.

Exterior Wall Assembly

Using 2x6 studs plus insulated sheathing allows for thicker insulation and enhances the structural strength of your home. The wall system has 25% more insulation than a comparable house built to the OBC standard.
