ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING 2015 Notice is hereby given of the ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING of the SHERINGHAM CARNIVAL ASSOCIATION LTD
It’s that time of year again when Sheringham Carnival Association must hold its Annual General Meeting. Everyone is welcome. Please think about whether you could spare a few hours to help out at the Carnival events or with all the preparation beforehand. Do you have any ideas you would like to put forward?
The committee would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who has assisted with or otherwise supported all Carnival Events this year – Christmas Lights, Viking Festival, Sea Fishing Festival, Carnival, Forties Weekend (town events) – whatever role you played made each event a success! We do really hope more people will volunteer to enable Carnival Events 2016 to be equally successful.

According to the Constitution of Sheringham Carnival Association Ltd, all existing officers and governors must stand down each year, but can offer themselves for re-election, along with any other interested parties. The following positions of Officers and Governors will become vacant:
CHAIRPERSON VICE-CHAIRPERSON TREASURER SECRETARY MINUTES SECRETARY NON-EXECUTIVE GOVERNORS (2) Nominations for these posts should be
submitted, together with the names of the proposer and seconder, and a written acceptance of the nominee to the Retiring Chairperson or Retiring Vice-Chairperson 7 days before the Annual General Meeting. If you wish to vote for officers at the AGM, you must fill out a Membership Form and be included on the register of Members. These will be available at the AGM.
