Love on the RNLI Cromer Lifeboat

Two serving members of RNLI Cromer who got engaged on 24 December 2013 shared their news at the January crew meeting.
RNLI Cromer crew members Rose Keating and David Syer have been a couple for two years. Rose works for Norfolk County Council as a Mathematics advisor to schools and David in logistics.
Rose has been a serving member of RNLI Cromer shore crew for six years, having moved to Norfolk nearly 12 years ago, although David only met her just over two years ago.
Soon after meeting Rose, David decided to also join the RNLI lifeboat crew, because it would mean they would have a joint interest and could spend more time together. It proved to be a wise decision, leading to his proposal over the festive season.
