Meteor Shower Bike Tour

After a scenic and challenging ride along the Virginia Capitol Trail, we’ll camp under the stars at Chickahominy Riverfront Park and watch the Perseid Meteor Shower. At its peak, we can expect to see between 60 and 100 meteors per hour during the Perseids. We’ll return to the city the following morning. Price includes meals and snacks during the trip, transportation of your belongings, camping fees, full vehicle support, and aid stations.

Safe Swimming in the James

Join us to celebrate the James River by learning how to enjoy playing in the river safely and responsibly. Park staff, professional river guides, and some of our favorite community leaders will be available to answer your questions and to help you have fun! We will explore common river hazards, and introduce techniques for swimming in swiftly moving current. This program is geared toward adults, but children are welcome too. Please bring close-toed shoes whenever you are in the river, and a bathing suit that can get wet and dirty. Life jackets will be provided.

Line Dance
