Pottery on the Wheel

Beginner to intermediate pottery class. Includes demos making various pottery forms, including mugs, pitchers, bowls, and lidded containers. Included will be techniques to finesse the pieces, including trimming tips and ways to complement the shape with visual elements including surface techniques with colored slip, underglaze and glaze. The class includes individual coaching for each student at their appropriate level. Come experience the therapeutic qualities of clay in this supportive and fun class. Supply fee of $35 is paid to the instructor at the first class.

Hand Building

This class is for students from beginner to advanced and are ready to create the pieces they most desire. This instructor is popular for her knowledgeable instruction, ideas, and encouragement and problem solving as you move towards your finished project. Supply fee of $25 is paid to the instructor at the first class.

All Level Wheel Throwing

During this session, students will learn the process of shaping and forming clay into usable shapes on the pottery wheel. This class is designed to accommodate all levels from beginner to intermediate to advance. Each student will develop a curriculum of what they want to achieve from the class. Supply fee of $30 is paid to the instructor at the first class.

Youth Pottery

Students receive a thorough introduction to hand building using techniques such as coil, slab, and pinch sculptures and vessels.
