Jewelry Making
Students will learn to make jewelry and accessories using a variety of techniques and materials. Subjects covered will include beading, wire wrapping, paper jewelry making, using recycled and organic materials and glitter! (Students will be able to take home projects at the end of semester.)

Collaborative Artmaking for a Cause
Students will work together to create and develop a community-oriented art piece in order to demonstrate their ability to engage with and understand themselves, each other, and their local Richmond community. Through this collaborative artmaking project, students will work together to determine social and community issues they want to address and create a visual art project of their choosing (for example, a zine/book, banner, poster series, and/or sticker series) to engage the larger community.
