PLAY DID YOU KNOW?

ENJOY A PUZZLE OR BOARD GAME

Each month, we place a new puzzle out for our patrons to put together in the Adult Nonfiction area. Plus, board games are available in the Gathering Space near the fireplace.

THE CHILDREN’S ACTIVITY ROOM IS OPEN FOR PLAY! Playing with parents, caregivers, and peers is key to building thriving brains, bodies, and social bonds.―Research shows play can improve children’s abilities to plan, organize, get along with others, and regulate emotions. In addition, play helps with language, math, and social skills, and as well as coping with stress. Explore the benefits of play in a fun, safe environment at your RCPL.
