INTERESTED IN CREELSBORO HISTORY? ASK ABOUT OUR DIGITAL MEDIA ARCHIVE!

Many of the residents who participated in the Creelsboro History Preservation Project have graciously allowed the Kentucky Archaeological Survey to provide RCPL with digital media from their collection of family photographs and oral history interviews to be used by the public for research and educational purposes. The Creelsboro Digital Media Archive contains rare family photographs and oral history interviews of area residents conducted from 2015 to 2019 and is currently available for in-house research at RCPL. For more information, please email Kristina Daffron at kristina@russellcountylibrary.com, or contact the Library to make a Book a Librarian appointment.

RCPL is excited to partner with the Family Resource Centers of Russell County Schools in hosting Wee School for children ages 3-5! This Kindergarten-readiness program is taught by experienced teachers and is an interactive learning experience for children and their caregiver(s). This is the second in a four-part series aimed at developing skills and knowledge about the popular tabletop roleplaying game – Dungeons & Dragons.
