The Library will be closed Thursday, November 23 through Saturday, November 25 in observance of the Thanksgiving holiday. We will reopen at 9 a.m. on Monday, November 27th. All due dates will be adjusted. The book drop will remain open for any returns during the closure.

Gather with fellow Russell County book lovers to celebrate literature, unite readers, and come together in meaningful discussion transcending boundaries. Made possible by The Austin Chair Fund, RCPL is pleased to announce we will be hosting a Kentucky Reads book discussion featuring Kim Michele Richardson’s The Book Woman’s Daughter. Bring a friend and come to the library for an evening stroll. Being part of a walking club can help you stay motivated and boost your health, energy, and mood.
RCPL invites all local veterans to coffee and conversation with Kentucky Department of Veteran Affairs Service Officer Donald Walbert, Regional Administrator for Central Region.
