As always, the book drop is located at the back of the Library parking lot for returns only. Please do not place donations in the book drop.

MAINTENANCE CLOSURES

After two years in the new building, RCPL will be performing some routine maintenance including deep cleaning of floors, windows, and ceilings. On Thursday, January 13th, your RCPL will be offering limited services beginning at 12pm. After 12 pm, browsing will be unavailable. We will still offer the following:

This Kindergarten-readiness program is taught by experienced teachers and is an interactive learning experience for children and their caregiver(s). AGES 0-24 MONTHS EVERY TUESDAY 10 AM A storytime experience for our youngest library users and their caregiver(s). Baby Storytime is a 20-to-30 minute introduction to the joys of reading and learning in a positive, fun atmosphere!

One thousand books? That seems like way too many, right? Not at all. You got this. It doesn’t matter if your child is three, or just three months - there’s no better time to start than now! And remember, 1000 is just a number. The goal is to work reading aloud into your regular routine, and let the magic of stories do the rest.

Grow as a reader by enjoying classic stories and new favorites! Log your reading as you grow to earn new badges.

Throughout this challenge, tweens and teens (grades 4-8) will read books and earn awesome prizes while learning and having fun along their journey to high school.
