3. TRAINING (Physical/virtual courses for training ABP coordinators) 3.1. Achievements Very significant participation by representatives from AEC region in CEBITEPAL ABP training seminars, CELAM FEBIC Congresses and Encounters Lima, Port of Spain, Panama, etc.

Regular Diocesan and parochial ABP training seminars in more than 12 dioceses of the region 3.3. Difficulties or challenges Language challenges in sharing between French, Dutch and English Caribbean and interpretation challenges for participation in Training in Latin America 3.4. Expectations for the next route map More opportunities for Caribbean to share training experience in activities sponsored by CELAM CEBITEPAL and FEBIC Commitment by CELAM CEBITEPAL and FEBIC to provide interpretation for AEC participation in training opportunities

4. ORGANIZATION (Organization and/or participation in Encounters for coordinating ABP) 4.1. Achievements Effective AEC ABP diocesan coordinators encounters Trinidad 2014, 2016 Diocesan ABP encounters.

Active ABP diocesan coordinators and teams in 12 dioceses 4.2. What has helped most in attaining these Support by AEC, individual bishops and AEC secretariat Enthusiasm and Passion for the Word of God among agents and hunger among people of the region for the Word of God 4.3. Difficulties or challenges Language barrier problems. A few dioceses not very active in ABP. Hesitation on the part of some clergy to support ABP 4.4. Expectations for the next route map Commitment by individual Episcopal Conference and individual dioceses to making ABP priority, more active participation in CEBITEPAL and FEBIC activities

5. SPECIFIC SUGGESTIONS FOR THE ROUTE MAP 2016­2019 1. Clear commitment by CELAM, Episcopal Conferences and other FEBIC members to ABP and the making the Word of God central to all Pastoral Activities 2. Just few priorities with serious commitment to action to implement them, rather than a longer list without specific commitments.
