EARLY CHILDHOOD Lunch and Learn Enrichments Daily 11:30am-1:00pm | Ages 3-5
Hola Amigos (MI)
Wednesdays | Ages 3-5 Begin learning a second language. Basic Spanish vocabulary such as numbers, colors, greetings, and everyday words are taught using songs, games, stories and more. Come laugh, create, play, and paint as we discover the Spanish language together!
Extend your child's preschool day to create a half day or give them an extra day in a preschool classroom setting! These classes are designed to give your child additional enrichment daily outside of the typical preschool setting. They feature fun and academic themes and allow your child to be creative and engaged while learning. Classes run daily from 11:30am-1:00pm, and children in morning preschool programs are escorted from their classroom to the enrichment classroom, or children in afternoon preschool programs are escorted from the enrichment to their classroom (PM preschoolers leave enrichment 30 minutes early, and a prorated discount is honored at registration for time missed.) Pack a nut-free lunch and pick which days work best to extend your child’s preschool day! Enrichments do not meet the week of Thanksgiving, 11/22-11/26. STEM: Science, Technology, Engineering, & Math (MI) Mondays | Ages 3-5
It is never too early to begin teaching students STEM! In this class, students will participate in activities and crafts that focus on science, technology, engineering, and math. Each week will feature a different activity and learning opportunity that expands and reinforces the curriculum that they are already learning in our preschool program. Phonics: Alphabet Intro (MI) Tuesdays | Ages 3-5
This phonics class strives to teach kids how to recognize both capital and lowercase letters and start learning the sounds that go with each. The basis of reading comes from letter and sound recognition. This class will improve your child’s confidence in reading, writing, and speaking, while reinforcing their preschool curriculum. Dance Exploration (AP) Wednesdays | Ages 3-5
Does your child want to kick their heels up, shimmy, shake, twist, shout, and turn all about? Send them to dance their heart out at this new enrichment class. Children will learn the importance of stretching, basic dance terms, simple choreography, and play dance games. Dancers will also have a number in our Holiday Dance Show which is in December. Magical Math (MI)
Thursdays | Ages 3-5 Math is everywhere and giving your child every advantage now will add up to success later in life. Basic concepts of number sense, shapes, and patterns will be taught. Your child will learn through music, hands on manipulates, and they will see how magical math can be. This program will give your child confidence in simple everyday math skills.
