Social Media such as Facebook and Twitter is not to everyone's taste but for many of us it a useful way of exchanging ideas, answering questions and keeping up with a far ung community of AV friends. In this new AV News feature, I will share a few of the stories and introduce you to useful sources of news, gossip, humour and knowledge. I urge you to get involved.

The Facebook page for AV News has 102 members and is a useful place for updates on events as well as discussions on a range of useful topics from across the AV community. In one example (far right) there was a stimulating debate on the best aspect ratio for AV productions.
