UP AND COMING AV Competition 2019

All Audio Visual enthusiasts’ resident in South Africa who have no acceptances from overseas salons and no medals from South African salons were cordially invited to enter this competition. We were delighted with the large number of entries received, particularly from places like Krugersdorp, Kuruman/Kathu, Queenstown, Pretoria and Howick where AV Makers have held workshops in the recent past. We shall certainly consider invitations from clubs or groups for workshops in the future. The enthusiasm for AV that was evident is most gratifying.

Generally, the standard was high and many entries could be entered in national salons. The storyline was usually apparent and some of the sequences just need a little renement in technique to raise them to the next level. Every entrant will be receiving written feedback on their work and, of course, we are available for more coaching.
