Carol Crivello Retires after 35 years

Dear Marin Catholic Families, Alumni and Friends, When I arrived on campus for my first day of work way back in the 1995-96 school year, I remember the three or four folks who popped by my lonely office to welcome me. One of those people was Carol Crivello, who at the time served as the treasurer for the school. Why did the treasurer come by to introduce herself to the Communications Director (my job at the time)? Well, simply put, because that is Carol. Last Spring as a community we celebrated Carol for her 35 years of service to Marin Catholic, not knowing she would retire this fall. Carol worked in so many different offices over the years, ending her time in the athletics department. There were three key characteristics that made Carol so wonderfully special: First, she was always dressed to the nines. Second, her smile was ministry to all those she came in contact with. And third, she LOVED the students. I went by Carol’s home recently to share good stories from our time together at MC. What a treasure, and what a memory. Carol made a career out of saying yes to all asked of her in hopes of improving the student experience. A die-hard football fan, she was present at every game to root them on. Carol lived for the 49ers, and me, the Raiders, so MC football is where our passions could connect. Our culture will not produce many people who give selflessly to an organization for 35 years as Carol did. So I tip my cap to a wonderful woman, colleague, fashionista, mother, and friend.

After 35 years of service to Marin Catholic, Carol Crivello has earned her much-deserved retirement. Carol has worn many hats during her 35 years, starting as an Administrative Assistant in 1986 and her longest stretch spent as the Treasurer and Business Office Associate. Carol has always been a helper, one who says “yes” and rises to the occasion without hesitation. It was not uncommon to see Carol completing multiple tasks at once, because that’s just Carol. Congratulations to Carol on her retirement and thank you for your friendship and 35 years of service to Marin Catholic!

God bless you, Carol.
