MEET THE
EDITION

Dear Sorors,

On behalf of the International Nominating Committee, I am excited to present the 2024 Meet the Candidates Newsletter. The 2022-2024 International Nominating Committee has worked diligently to prepare all sorors for the 2024 election season. Under the theme of PEARLection: Soaring to Greater Heights of Leadership and Service, we set out to ensure the integrity, accuracy, and efficiency of the certification process while providing clarity and support to all potential candidates. Through our interactive workshops at the 2023 Leadership Seminar, our video presentation during the fall Cluster season, and the individual interactions with sorors in our regions, we are confident we achieved this goal.

The sorors presented in this Meet the Candidates Newsletter are certified candidates who meet the requirements as set forth by our Constitution & Bylaws, Manual of Standard Procedure, and the revised April 2023 So You Want to Run For Office Handbook. We strongly encourage every soror to read each candidate’s profile, vision statement, and leadership experiences to make the best decision for the future leadership of our sisterhood.

Lastly, I extend sincere appreciation and thanks to the devoted members of the 2022 – 2024 International Nominating Committee. The committee members and the regions they represent are: Soror Brooke Foyles (North Atlantic), Soror Ryanne Howard (Mid-Atlantic), Soror Kelsey Walker (South Atlantic), Soror Richelle A. McCoy (Great Lakes), Soror Kimberly Smith-Russ (South Eastern), Soror Gwendolyn Kimble (South Central), Soror Armisha Walker-Harrison (Mid-Western), Soror Shauna GravesRobertson (Far Western), and Soror Tekea Saunders (International). Without their commitment, certifying and presenting the official slate of candidates would not have been possible.

We are proud to present the culmination of our work to you.

Y I Si t h d d S i
