ORCHESTRA HALL COFFEE CONCERT

Enjoy a lovely trip to Orchestra Hall in downtown Minneapolis, starting with complimentary coffee and donuts in the lobby space. Then take in a performance of Tchaikovsky Symphony No. 6 by the Minnesota Orchestra. Although Leila Josefowicz cut her teeth on standard repertoire, the biggest transformation of her professional life has been the chance to collaborate with living composers. Near the top of that impressive list is John Adams, who she says “changed my life totally.” This program begins with a treat for American history buffs and ends with Tchaikovsky’s emotions riding high. After the performance, we will have lunch at the Hen House Eatery including a cup of soup made from scratch daily, a chicken salad sandwich, a beverage, and a cookie.
