Our 4th National Language – a Roman legacy in Switzerland. A mysterious people, Roman imperialism, German colonisation and the forging of an identity is how Romansh history can best be summed up. A small cultural microcosm, based in the Alps, Romansh has survived for hundreds of years at the crossroads of the great European civilisations. The Romans’ legacy to the Mediterranean world was their network of roads and aqueducts. And in much of western Europe, they also left behind their language. Vulgar Latin, as spoken by Roman soldiers, officials and merchants, merged with other languages of the Roman empire, forming several new variants. These can be divided into several linguistic groups: Gallo-Romance (French), Occitano-Romance (Occitan, Provencal, Catalan), Ibero-Romance (Spanish, Portuguese, Galician), ItaloRomance (Italian, Corsican) and Balkan Romance (Romanian, Dalmatian). Dolomitic Ladin and Friulian, used in northern Italy, and Romansh, which is spoken exclusively in Switzerland’s southeastern canton of Graubünden, are known as the RhaetoRomance languages. The origins of the Rhaetian people are still unclear, as not much is known about the tribe, which is thought to have arrived in the Alps at around 500 BC. Experts do not think they were Celtic, but either Etruscans, from the Balkans or Semitic. The Romans conquered the Rhaetian territory, which stretched between the Rhaetian Alps and the River Danube, in 15 BC. Known as Rhaetia, the region underwent intense Romanisation until 400 AD. A regional variant of Vulgar Latin - Romansh - developed. The spread of Christianity from the fourth century onwards also played a part. In 806 Charlemagne, King of the Franks, introduced the Franconian system of administration into Rhaetia. A German count took over in Chur bringing with him many German-speaking officials and nobles. Around 40 years later, the Diocese of Chur was detached from the Archdiocese of Milan and became part of the Archdiocese of Mainz, another step towards the northern German-speaking world. until the 14th and 15th centuries that the Graubünden area started to gain political autonomy. The old feudal system was gradually replaced by a more democratic one, based on autonomous communes and high courts. These came together in 1471 to form a loose confederation called the State of the Three Leagues. The large fire that destroyed the cantonal capital, Chur, in 1464 cemented the region’s linguistic evolution towards German as it was rebuilt by German-speaking artisans. Meanwhile, from the 16th century onwards Romansh developed into a written language, benefiting notably from the literary drive of the Reformation. For practical reasons, however, German was the official language of the State of the Three Leagues. This changed in 1794, when trilingualism in German, Romansh and Italian became official in the State, which in 1803 became the canton of Graubünden. Although cantonal constitutions of the 19th century continued to support this principle, the authorities still pushed for the Germanisation of Romansh speakers. This and an increasingly strong immigration of German speakers into the Romansh heartland, led to calls to save the ancient language. Lia Rumantscha, the Romansh promotion organisation, was therefore founded in 1919. In 1938 Romansh received another boost when it was recognised as a national language alongside German, French and Italian. It had to wait until 1996 to became an official language – the status accorded to the other three. It is still only an official language in certain fields. One of the most significant developments for Romansh in the past few decades was the creation of Rumantsch Grischun, the standard written Romansh, in 1982. Romansh is actually the term for the five different variants of the language which exist as small islands of Latin across Graubünden. These idioms are alive – or survive - nonetheless. But Romansh, which is now spoken by just 0.5 per cent of the Swiss population, is still facing many challenges. swissinfo 2007

President’s Message I hope that the holiday season has been a relaxing one and the new year has started well for you.

This is the last time that I address you as Club President. At the forthcoming Annual General Meeting on Wednesday March 28 I shall hand over to the current Vice-President Rolf Huber. The transition has been planned long in advance as the committee structure works on a 2-year rotation basis. I had originally planed to stay on as Immediate Past President for another two years but I have run out of steam. After seven years as a member of the committee it is time for a break (happy though to stay in touch and help out on an occasional basis). It’s been hard work but much has been achieved and it has been a most rewarding experience. I wish to thank everyone for their help and good advice, I am very grateful for the support and friendship that has come my way!
Apart from Simon, Erika and myself there are two other committee members that have indicated their intention to retire due to their many years of service. This is of great concern because it will leave the committee precariously understaffed. One of the reasons why the Club is in good shape today is because we have had a committed and effective committee. It is absolutely vital that we continue this and new committee members can be found. If you feel you can support your Club I urge you to contact Rolf. (Please see below).
Simon Ochsenbein has relocated to Brisbane for professional reasons. We thank Simon for his great contribution and wish him all the very best for his personal and professional life in the sunshine state. We are grateful that he agreed to stay on as Web Administrator and thus we won’t loose him completely. Erika Kimpton has been appointed Honorary Consul for Victoria. The Swiss Club congratulates Erika warmly and wishes her all the best in this new
The Committee needs you! Currently there are six committee members (with Simon Ochsenbein and Erika Kimpton having left recently). But with Roland not intending to staying on and others having indicated their intention to leave also, the committee after the Annual General Meeting on March 28 will be about half that number. This means that the remaining three members will have the responsibility for several portfolios. This is an unacceptable situation and the smooth running of the Club will be compromised. Committee members are volunteers and there is only ever so much time that they can be expected to devote to the Club. We have embarked on a serious drive to boost the staffing of the committee. Being a member of the committee is not just about work, it can be a very rewarding experience and a lot can be learned. The knowledge that you are doing something good for your community, the fact that you get to know a lot of people and learn to

Brigitte brought to her job a smile, diligence and kindness. We loved her. She fought a long and brave battle with illness and never ever complaint. Sadly on the 7 November Brigitte left us. The passing has left a big empty space, not only in our group but also in the community. Brigitte will be remembered as a beautiful warm person with lots of strength, a dear friend with a heart of gold. We like to offer our sincere condolences to the family.
Marianne Puccinelli, President Group Romand de Melbourne, has lost her husband and we offer our condolences to Marianne and her family. We are very sad to know, that the husband of our member Rena Bueler has passed away shortly before Christmas and we offer our sympathy and support to Rena during this difficult time. But then we welcome New Life: Gerda and Martin Probst-Hurschler are the proud parents of Nadja. Not only was the pregnancy observed by many of us at every Young Swiss gathering, Nadja was presented at the Swiss Club barely 10 days old, the youngest ever “member�, clad with a red and white t-shirt. She is the most gorgeous little Swiss girl. One child is still to be presented, that’s little boy Kay from our restaurant helper Pia, a pregnancy also strictly observed. Kay is also very cute and handsome, albeit we have only seen the photo. And now we expect news of Janet’s little Pro Ticino boy: she promised to let us know. Wilma Dunkel, we wish you speedy recovery from all your ailments. You had a rough time lately and it will come to end, believe us. To all people who are ill, lonely and sad, we send our love and good wishes. It is with great regret that we inform members of the passing of former Consul General Leo Renggli. He was heading the Consulate from 1990 to 1995. Leo was well liked and respected and often seen at the Club enjoying the company of members and playing Jass. Ground Floor Tenancy You would have noticed that the ground floor is once again empty. The Firery Stone Restaurant has been a failure and moved out late last year. Compared with other times when we were looking for a tenant, this time we have received great interest from a variety of businesses. Negotiations are currently underway with an experienced restaurateur already operating three businesses in Acland Street, Chapel Street and Southbank. We have been notified by the City of Melbourne that Flinders Lane, between Russell and Spring Street, will be undergoing a substantial streetscape improvement this year. It will include the removal of parking on the northern side of Flinders Lane to make room for the widening of the footpath on our side. There is no doubt that the appearance of our Club will benefit from this and any new tenant as well. We shall keep you informed of developments in due course and certainly will talk about it in more detail at the AGM.

Appointment of Honorary Consul At the recent Information Evening on Wednesday January 26, the Ambassador Mr Christian Mühlethaler announced the appointment of Erika Kimpton as Honorary Consul for Victoria following the closure of the Consulate General late last year. AHV/IV Agreement At the Information Evening on Wednesday January 26, the Ambassador Mr Christian Mühlethaler spoke about the recently signed Social Security agreement between Australia and Switzerland. The 130 people present at the Club were somewhat disappointed as many important aspects of the agreement have not been finalised yet and therefore many questions were left unanswered. It is important though that the authorities are being made aware of the concerns people have. Walter Purtschert as one of the Australian representatives for the Swiss Abroad is collecting these concerns so that they can be conveyed to the office of the ‘Auslandschweizer-Organisation’ in Bern. Swiss School The Saturday Morning Swiss School started the school year on Saturday, 3rd Feb. It was great to see so many families return. The year started with talking and learning about Fasnacht, its meaning and the different customs. The Olympic Games of 1956 in Melbourne The 22 November 2006 marked the 50th anniversary of the Swiss boycott of the Melbourne Olympic Games in protest of the bloody suppression of the Hungarian uprising by the Sovjet army. Josef Renggli, then a young journalist, is the last reporter still alive in Switzerland that witnessed these events. The article below, written by Renggli, appeared on 22 November 2006 in the Neue Zürcher Zeitung (thanks to Primo Calabresi for supplying it): Trivia Quiz Despite the official boycott Switzerland is still regarded as having participated at the Melbourne games, and is in fact one of only two countries that has attended every single Olympic game of the modern era. Switzerland appears right at the end of the medal tally with one Bronze. It was won by the equestrian team, behind Sweden and Germany. Due to quarantine restrictions, the equestrian events were held ahead of time in Stockholm. Who can tell us the name of the other country? The winner, randomly selected from all correct entries, will receive a bottle of wine.

Senior Swiss Christmas 2006 A day that opened the heart of the Swiss Seniors! It started with ‘belegte Brötli’ nach ‘Schwyzerart’, die wome deheime gha haet. Zwei Musikante händ Blockflöte gespielt, wunderschön! It really felt like Christmas. Tee und Kafi isch serviert worde vo schöne ‘Trachtemeitschi’, with smiles and warmth, giving a feeling of being home. The entertainment was grand. The Swiss School Children performed Christmas songs and recited poems, some we remembered from our childhood. We all enjoyed singing ‘Stille Nacht’, ‘Oh du fröhliche’ and ‘Ihr Kinderlein kommet’, the words supplied on sheets. Irma Thalmann played the Alphorn beautifully and with such ease. ‘The Folkdance Group Alpenrose’ performed dances we have never seen. They made us smile, again Switzerland was floating right before our eyes. Tom and Chrigel, what an entertainment with the ‘Singende Säge’ and the Schwyzer Örgeli! Then the wonderful Jodel from Hans Brunner! Then we ate fabulous cake, ‘serviert mit Liebi vo de Trachtemeitschi. Cherzli haend gluechtet uf em Tisch. Fahrt ins Blaue The Mystery Tour 2006. For the first time I decided to take advantage of my ‘Senior’ status and join the annual Fahrt ins Blaue. What a wonderful day was organised by President and dedicated team of the Trachtengruppe Schwyzergruess for so many of us Senior Swiss. This function must be a logistical nightmare; but from bus pick up at two divergent points, the day followed seamlessly. It must have been particularly difficult for the team, as they had received the sad news, that the day before the beloved President of the Trachtengruppe, Brigitte Jukes, had lost her battle with a long illness. But the team masked their deep sadness and gave us the best of days. So off we all went, led by you in national costumes – a lovely touch. First stop, Werribee, Open Range and Life Zoo, with it’s exciting and informative safari bus trip, featuring varied Savannah wild life. Very interesting, although I was hoping that an enterprising Ibex would take a flying leap onto the roof of the bus. Not to be, but this interlude also gave us time to catch up with old friends and make new ones. From there our friendly bus driver took us to a beautiful restaurant for a delicious three course meal served in delightful surroundings. By the time we left, we were all a little tubbier and happy to snuggle back in our bus seats for a relaxing trip back to Melbourne. I know I speak for all who enjoyed this day in saying a heartfelt ‘thank you’ to Sylvia Hochuli and the Trachtengruppe Schwyzergruess and all who helped to make this day such a success. Swiss Club Tennis Championship For the second time in late November the racquets were out to see who will be playing Roger Federer the next time he is “Down under�. As last year we were fortunate to find ideal weather conditions for our second championship held at Kooyong. It was very encouraging to see a lot of children taking part in this event and compete for pride and glory. Also the increased number of participants compared to last year meant that the tournament organizer had to make some last minute changes to the play schedule. Nevertheless the round robin format ensured that participants had an equal number of games and were also able to play with different partners every match. In the end it came as no surprise, that Olivia Nobs, participant in the 2006 Winter Olympic Games in Torino, was crowned Swiss Club Champion. In the junior category Amanda Wildi won her second title together with Sara Gyger with the same amount of games won. Thanks to the generous support of the Swiss Consulate, Austrian Airlines and the Swiss Club trophies and prices were awarded to the winners of the different categories. I also would like to thank everyone who made this a enjoyable event and hope to see you again at the next Swiss Club Championship. Minutes of the Half Yearly General Meeting Held Wednesday, 2 September 2006, 89 Flinders Lane, Melbourne 1. Opening and Welcome The President of the Swiss Club of Victoria, Mr Roland Isler opened the Half Yearly General Meeting at 8.05pm and welcomed, The Consul General of Switzerland Mr Peter Casaulta and Mrs Ursula Casaulta as well as the Honorary Life Members, and Members of the Swiss Club. He thanked everyone for attending the Half Yearly Meeting. A total of 20 voting members were present. 2. One Minute of Silence Roland invited all members to stand up and observe one minute of silence to remember our friends and members who have left us, in particular Mrs Hedi Dornbierer as well as Mr John Delacretaz, past President of the SCV. Our sympathy goes to their families. 3. Adoption of Minutes of AGM April 2006 The Minutes of the Annual General Meeting, held 5th April 2006, were published in the September 2006 Newsletter and, as announced in the Newsletter, copies of the audited Financial Statements were available for members from the Swiss Club Restaurant for the past fortnight, as required by the constitution. The Minutes had been read and are a true record. They were moved by Albert Cymons and seconded by Marcel Muntwyler. All in favour. 5. President’s Report Consul General Mr Peter Casulta and Mrs Ursula Casulta, Honorary Life Members, and members of the Swiss Club, I am pleased to report on the past six months during which we saw a number of important events happening in the life of our Club. To our immense relief the legal battle with ‘Rostil’, the former tenant of the ground floor has finally been resolved. As reported at the AGM, as part of having the dispute heard in the ‘Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal’ (VCAT) a mandatory mediation meeting facilitated by the Small Business Commissioner took place between both parties and their respective legal representatives on April 24th. Whilst we had very www.swiss.org.au/swissclubvic
little hope of a positive outcome, we nevertheless went to the meeting with an open mind. It started off with a round-table discussion during which each party aired their grievances and claims. We were hard pressed to contain ourselves when we had to listen to a concoction of fabricated and totally exaggerated claims against the Swiss Club. The two main claims were: Firstly, ‘Interference in their business’ due to the water-leek we experienced during the Club’s refurbishment. According to them this disruption caused a ‘major loss of business income’. The fact, of course, was that they were going badly long before this occurred and this was simply a welcome excuse. Secondly, they claimed that we were holding some chattels that belong to them and that the new tenant, the ‘Firery Stone’, is using them illegally. What they were taking about mainly was the bar, an item that we regarded as being a fixture, rather then a chattel, and as such is part of the building. Our claim against them was loss of rental income of just under $100,000 of which very little could be disputed. The sticky point was that some aspects of their claims could be regarded as having some merit, at least in the eyes of the law, and it was extremely difficult for us to prove that their claim of in excess of $100,000 was wildly exaggerated. According to the mediator, what was clear to her may not necessarily be clear in a court of law and it was our decision and choice to make whether or not to invest many more thousands of dollars to prolong the legal battle to prove a point and at the end gain moral satisfaction. To achieve much more then that was highly unlikely as there were no assets of any substance to fall back on any longer. Furthermore, the other party including the guarantors indicated to the mediator that they rather borrow money to invest in further legal proceedings, with a slim chance that they may win, then to pay us in compensation. Whilst we were tempted in our hearts to take a chance and walk away from the meeting to carry on the legal dispute, our brains were mindful that we were dealing not with our money but that of the Club and as such we had an obligation to protect the Club’s assets. After hours of rather intense negotiations, a settlement was agreed on, whereby both parties withdraw all claims. What this means for us is that we have lost the right of compensation for loss of rental income and around $18,000 in legal fees. We have, however, gained ownership of all disputed items such as the bar. The ‘Rostil’ has lost many hundreds of thousands of dollars that they had invested in the failed business and a considerable amount in legal fees that almost certainly exceeded ours. It shows very clearly that in a dispute such as this, there can never be a winner, only losers. Having said this, I am confident that we have handled this in the best interest of the Club. I wish to thank our lawyer, Mr Innis Cull of Mendelsons Barristers & Solicitors for his professional advise in this matter.

The future of the current tenant, the ‘Firery Stone’, still remains uncertain. It appears that the partnership between Selena Williams and Mai Tran has come to an end, with Selena leaving the business to Mai who is determined to carry on on her own. We believe that the split has not been an amicable one. In an attempt to rescue the business, the direction has changed from a restaurant concentrating on food, to a jazz bar. Whilst this may be the salvation, it is a concern to us as this may negatively impact on our restaurant and the Club’s surroundings. The level of noise in particular will have to be monitored. A month ago we issued a deadline for the payment of this month’s rent and debt repayment totalling $17,500, of which we have received around $11,200 so far with the balance promised to be paid by Monday. We regard this substantial payment as positive indication of Mai’s determination to turn the business around. The total amount outstanding to date is $25,360, but given that we are holding three months rent of around $18,000 in a trust account certainly help to minimise any potential loss should the business fail. The closure of the Consulate General in Melbourne is now eminent. Whilst it was clear to us that the Swiss Club has very little say in bringing about a reversal of the decision made in Bern, we still have been voicing our concerns and opposition to it vigorously. Of particular disappointment was the timing of the closure as it coincides with the 150th anniversary of the establishment of consular representation in Melbourne. The Swiss Club was determined not to let this milestone gone past unnoticed. Consular staff always participated in the life of the Club and so the Consulate was very much part of the Swiss community in Melbourne. It was therefore only befitting that we would say farewell in style. Our National Day Gala Ball was the perfect venue and opportunity to do that. It was a marvellous event and I would like to thank the organising Ball Committee, in particular its convenor Rita Schwärzler for the fantastic organisation and hard work. The beautiful ‘bell-towers’ that are such a wonderful feature in our Club restaurant are the Consulate’s farewell present to the Swiss Club. This is truly magnificent and I thank Consul General Peter Casulta for this most generous gift. Let me also, at this point, say once more farewell to Peter and Ursula Casulta on behalf of the Swiss Club. It has been a pleasure to have you both here in Melbourne and we could not have wished for two nicer people as the last Consul General couple. We wish you all the very best for the future and hope that in your retirement, when you have plenty of time to travel, you will come and visit us again some time! The Committee is very grateful to the sub-groups and the many dedicated people that gave up their time to organise these events and we also thank everyone that supported and attended them. I would also like to send a big thank-you to John Wanner and his friends of the ‘Kapelle Grüezi Mitenand’ for providing such great entertainment every first Thursday of the month. Andreas Salvotelli has tendered his resignation as a member of the Committee. We regret this decision very much as he has been a true pillar of this Committee. For three years Andy worked with great competence and with outstanding generosity for the good of the Swiss Club and we all owe him a great deal of gratitude. I am happy to report that Erika Kimpton has accepted the invitation to join our Committee to take on the vacant portfolio of Facilities Manager. I believe that Erika is ideally suited because as an architect she has the professional knowledge needed to manage a building, including access to a wide range of trades people. Erika is self-employed and close to the city, which means that she can provide a quick response when needed and she has previous committee experience. I thank Erika for her commitment and I look forward to working with her. We shall go through the proper election process when we come to point 7 of the agenda -Election of Office Bearers. Lastly, I thank Patrick Rychner for his role as editor of the newsletter and my Committee for all the hard work and dedication throughout the past six months. 6

Urs Wili presented the figures for 2006 up to 31st August 06. As the accounts have been restructured a comparison with last year’s is not really relevant. Urs pointed out the Trade Debtors ($32,640.71). They are high due to the outstanding payments from the Firery Stone. The trade creditors ($20,319.30) are also uncharacteristically high as the Hilton Hotel had not yet charged us for the ball expenses incurred. Urs pointed out the fixed assets, land at valuation ($210,000) and building at valuation ($104,000).

They are rather low and we are presently in the process of having these properly evaluated as to ensure that the building is insured at the correct level. On the income side, our membership collection is up 10% at $19,021.84. We are also again trying to attract corporate memberships. We generated additional income with the Comedy Festival and a School Theatre company. Another welcome windfall was the rental we charged for the Medina Car park sign on our outside wall ($2,500). On the expenses side, Insurance premiums have come down again. The depreciation expenses have not been included yet. They are expected to range between 3035,000, thus reducing our profit. 7. Election of Office Bearers

With the resignation of Andreas Salvotelli, a new committee member had to be elected. Erika Kimpton volunteered to join the committee. This was proposed by Partick Rychner and moved by Richard Spieler. All in favour. The committee presented Andreas with a gift as a token for our appreciation for all his work and contribution during his time on the committee. 8. General Business Roland invited Mr Peter Casualta, the Consul General of Switzerland to address the General Meeting for the last time. Peter Casaulta welcomed all present and congratulated the club and all the subgroups for their contributions and hard work. He expressed his thanks to the ball committee, especially Rita Schwärzler and Roland Isler for all their work and a wonderful evening. He also stressed how much the Consulate always enjoyed participating in Club events. The recent bushwalk was especially memorable and enjoyable. Almost all the consular staff has now left, disbursed in all corner of the world. Peter Casaulta regretted the timing of the closure of the Consulate, but also pointed out that closure was part of the DFA objectives and priorities for the future. Even though the Consulate closes its door, the Swiss in Victoria won’t be forgotten, there will be an honorary consul appointed in due course (there are two names in the running at the moment) as well as the continuous support from the Sydney Consulate General. In addition, Switzerland is very well represented by the Swiss living in Victoria having often a more effective and positive impact than any official representation could. Q: Marcel Muntwyler inquired if the Swiss Club considered addressing the Swiss Government to voice our displeasure about the closing of the consulate? A: We have voiced our disappointment by telling the Ambassador of Switzerland in Canberra. Our representative at the ASC, Walter Purtschert will also address the congress and voice that while we understand the reason, we feel very disappointed the way and timing the closure was done. Q: Primo Calabresi congratulated the committee for their work and the excellent financial result considering that there is no longer any income from the Oktoberfest. He also wanted to know if the new honorary consul will be a Swiss indeed. A: As the Australian Government has yet to give their approval to any appointment of an honorary consul, no details to the candidate can be revealed. Marcel Muntwyler thanked Rita for a well organised ball and a wonderful time had. Roland Isler thanked Peter Casaulta for his address. He also mentioned that the Swiss School Trivia night will be held 14th October and invited members to come along. He congratulated Rita Schwärzler to her birthday and presented her with flowers. 9. Conclusion As there were no further questions from the members, Roland closed the Half Yearly General Meeting by thanking all present for their continuous interest & support in the Swiss Club of Victoria. EASTER EGGS NATURALLY Here’s a great Easter break activity for young and old. Instead of coloring your Easter eggs the same color you’ve seen year after year, do something more unique dating from the medieval kitchen. The cold-dipping method creates subtle, translucent shades, but may result in uneven coloring unless the eggs are rotated vigilantly. For the cold-dipping, the eggs and ingredients are boiled separately. After the dye has cooled and been strained, immerse the eggs for 5 to 10 minutes and pat dry with a paper towel. The boiling technique involves boiling the eggs in the dye; as the egg heats and rolls in the boiling water, a more uniform and intense color is produced. To dye 8 eggs with the boiling technique, use 2 tablespoons of vinegar per quart of water. Place eggs in pot and cover with 1 inch of water. Add natural dye ingredients, bring to a rolling boil, and reduce to simmer for 20 to 30 minutes. Rinse with lukewarm water. Natural dyes create beautiful effects, but may not be suitable for eating. Sienna Tones 4 packed cups of red onion skins. Boil for 30 minutes to an hour. Adjust the shade of red from light to rich crimson with amount of skins and soaking time. Golden Add 2 to 3 teaspoons of turmeric to hot water, or boil for more intense color Pink Soak hard-boiled eggs in cranberry or beet juice. Violet Blue Add violet blossoms to hot water and soak overnight. Lighten the mixture with lemon juice to create lavender. Blue Two heads (16 cups) of chopped red cabbage, 2 additional quarts of water and 6 additional tablespoons of white vinegar. Soak overnight for a deep royal blue Green Add ¼ teaspoon baking soda to Violet Blue mixture or boil eggs with spinach. Lavender Soak hard-boiled eggs in grape juice Pastels For soft pinks and blues, rub eggshells with blueberries and cranberries. Beige 4 packed cups of yellow onion skins. Boil for 30 minutes to an hour. Adjust the shade of beige with amount of skins and soaking time. Rich Brown Boil eggs in 1 quart of coffee
