IN GOOD SHAPE When Finja was founded in 1957 the company had three employees and a turnover of SEK 300,000. Currently the number of employees is 330 and the turnover is at SEK 800 million. Our goal is a turnover of SEK 1 billion within the next few years. FINJA GROWS.

In order to avoid stagnation it is important that we continue to gather new knowledge and experience. We reinvest in new production facilities and continuously develop new products and seek out new markets. FINJA DEVELOPS.

Finja has 48 employees and the average pay rate is SEK 25 an hour. A few years earlier the company began selling dry mix.

The company AB Finja Betong was founded by Kaj Andersson. The ﬁrst year they began to produce concrete stones nicknamed ”wood louse”. There were three employees.

Finja Betong employs 17 and the yearly salary is nearly SEK 25,000. Finja has been producing lightweight concrete products for a couple of years.

Finja acquires the companies Böckersboda Betong and Tåstarp Block. Shortly thereafter they also acquire Eskilstuna Cementvarufabrik and Finja Bemix.

Gull-Britt Jonasson has been MD since 1989. The same year the ﬁrst prefabricated concrete wall facility is opened. Finja acquires Hultsfred, Borensberg and Östra Grevie company.

The ﬂoor levelling product area is developed, the Strängnäs facility is established and a new Cellplast factory is opened. Finja’s conference centre ”The house of concrete” is completed.
