Magiche Figure

San Felice sul Panaro è un Comune in provincia di Modena dove ogni anno, dal 2003, si volge un Carnevale diverso dagli altri. Sono gli stessi abitanti di ogni ceto o età, tra cui alcuni con disagi sociali, che in costume e in gruppo sfilano tra le vie cittadine.

Dietro a questa sfilata vi è un grosso lavoro di sarti, costumisti e truccatori che rendono veramente magiche le loro figure.

Nel 2013 la cittadina è stata violentemente colpita da un terremoto e con grande disagio ma con grande forza di volontà, anche grazie a questo evento, San Felice cerca di risorgere da questa sua condizione.

Ogni anno, con un regista, il carnevale viene dedicato ad un movimento o ad un manifesto culturale.

Nel 2015 si è voluto celebrare il manifesto futurista che Balla e Depero, tra i più illustri esponenti del Futurismo Italiano, pubblicarono esattamente 100 anni fa.

Le immagini riprodotte in questo quaderno si riferiscono alla manifestazione svoltasi nel 2013 subito dopo il terremoto funesto, quando regista era ancora il maestro fotografo Mario Lasalandra.

I volti e i costumi che sfilano in quest’occasione si riferiscono alla rappresentazione di un diario di un sogno.

Ecco allora sfilare tra le vie della città figure evanescenti come ectoplasmi alla ricerca probabilmente dell’effimero e di ciò che non esiste.

L’insieme di tutti i figuranti che sfilano apparentemente in modo disordinato, dietro al cerone di scena, rende comunque l’idea evanescente di un sogno effimero e fluttuante dentro una dimensione onirica all’interno di un codice narrativo prestabilito.

Il sogno ci porta in quella profondità che è dimensione propria della Psiche: è il luogo dove si formano e si schiudono le immagini, che salgono alla coscienza performandola prima che esse le siano note.

Secondo Carotenuto “l’immagine diviene lo strumento di dialogo tra l’Io e l’inconscio, e attraverso di essa l’uomo fa esperienza del suo mondo sotterraneo” poichè ha il “potere di aprirlo alla psiche e farlo accedere ad un territorio sconosciuto che nè la sola ragione nè il solo istinto possono rivelare, e la cui materia è il sogno, la visione interiore” (da “I sotterranei dell’anima” di A. Carotenuto).

Gabriele Rodriquez (Verona 1960) Vive a Verona, Italia. Sposato con 3 figli. Docente di materie aziendali fino al 1997.

Esercita la professione di Dottore Commercialista dal 1990. Prestato alla fotografia, fin da giovane questa è diventata un’attività che via via si è rivelata più che una passione, più che un semplice hobby.

La fotografia ha riempito probabilmente un’area della sua vita culturale che gli studi seguiti hanno solo sfiorato.

Nel corso della sua attività ha conseguito 52 primi premi in vari contest nelle varie piattaforme specialistiche di cui 2 internazionali, varie mostre singole e collettive, relatore in varie occasioni divulgative di incontri con l’autore. Amante di reportage in genere e di viaggio nello specifico.

Gabriel Rodriquez (Verona 1960) He lives in Verona, Italy. Married with three children. Teacher of business subjects until 1997. He practices as a chartered accountant since 1990. On loan to photography from a young age this has become an activity that gradually proved more than a passion, more than just a hobby.

Photography has probably filled area of his life that cultural studies pursued have toed.

During his career he earned 52 awards in various contests in the various specialized platforms including 2 international awards, individual and collective exhibitions, speaker at various occasions of outreach meetings with authors. Lover of reportage in general and travel in particular.

San Felice sul Panaro is a municipality in the province of Modena where every year since 2003, turns a carnival different from the others. They are the same people from all walks and ages, including some with social problems, which in costume and in groups parade through the city streets.

Behind this parade there is a lot of work to tailors, costume designers and makeup artists that make it really magical their figures.

In 2013 the town was violently hit by an earthquake and with great discomfort but with strong will, thanks to this event, San Felice tries to rise from his condition.

Each year, with a director, the carnival is dedicated to a movement or a cultural manifesto.

In 2015 it was decided to celebrate the Futurist manifesto that Balla and Depero, one of the most illustrious exponents of Italian Futurism, published exactly 100 years ago.

The images reproduced in this book refer to the event which took place in 2013 after the disastrous earthquake, when the director was still the master photographer Mario Lasalandra.

The faces and costumes that parade on this occasion refer to the representation of a diary of a dream.

Here then paraded through the streets of the city evanescent figures as ectoplasm looking probably ephemeral and what does not exist.

The set of all the extras that parade seemingly haphazardly, behind the greasepaint and turns, it gets the gist of an evanescent dream ephemeral and floating in a dreamlike narrative within a predetermined code.

The dream takes us to that depth which is proper to the size Psyche: it is the place where you form and hatch images, that rise to the consciousness performandola before they are known.
