Tiny Chefs: Let’s Cook
Tiny Chefs cooking camps are a fun way for kids to flex their creative muscles, spend time working in peer groups and best of all, are a great way to introduce them to the joy of cooking and baking! Cooking teaches kids valuable skills they will carry with them through life. Children practice basic math when they measure ingredients, reading comprehension as they follow a recipe, team building as they work in groups, and build a strong foundation for healthy eating. All of these skills are mixed in with delicious food and fun.
It is said that if you want to learn about a country you should start with the food. So, during this week of camp, our Tiny Chefs will learn how to create the cuisines of multiple countries. We will be cooking up some of the fabulous flavors of Italian, Indian, Vietnamese, Mexican and French foods and learning about some of the cooking techniques and ingredients that make them unique. Join us as we expand our world and our palates!
