Rose Centifolia In France, the rose centifolia harvest started early on April 24th and finished at the end of May/beginning of June. The harvest was good due to a fair amount of rain and favorable temperatures. The quantity of flowers processed by Robertet was up 30% from last year. Due to general inflation and increased labor costs, the price per flower has increased at the source.
Rose Damascena The Bulgarian rose harvest took place from mid-May to mid-June. Heavy, cold rains had a negative impact on the harvest which produced few buds. Due to the lack of flowers and rising labor costs, prices are increasing. Availability is limited for both the oil and absolute. The rose season in Turkey experienced the same adverse weather conditions as in Bulgaria, as a result prices are increasing.

Juniperberry
Robertet has acted to limit the impact on our environment at our juniperberry processing plant in Turkey. A cooling tower has been installed to reduce water consumption and enabling water to be reused in the manufacturing process. This also reduces distillation time. In addition, raw material residue, the plant’s waste, is converted into energy.
