LIBERTY STATE PARK AVIATION EVENT

Navy and Marine Corps helicopters will land for festivities at Liberty State Park. Come and meet the flight crews, interact with military displays (including the Navy Dive Tank), and enjoy youth activities through Jersey City Office of Cultural Affairs. There will also be performances by Navy Band Northeast, Coast Guard Silent Drill Team, and Marine Corps Band.

Community College will graduate a record 1,532 students at the College’s 47th Annual Commencement

Ceremony beginning at 10 am on May 16 at Red Bull Arena in Harrison, NJ.

During the ceremonies, HCCC Class of 2024 Valedictorian Najwa Essaki will address her peers. The immigrant, first-generation college graduate enrolled at HCCC in 2022 to overcome a language barrier. Excelling in English as a Second Language (ESL) classes, she went on to maintain a 4.0 cumulative grade point average (GPA) while pursuing her Associate’s degree in Accounting and participating in a federal workstudy program.

She belongs to many organizations and holds many positions at HCCC.

HCCC Class of 2024 graduates earned Associates degrees and certificates from the HCCC Schools of Nursing and Health Professions; Business, Culinary Arts and Hospitality Management; Humanities and Social Sciences; and Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics.

2024 marks the triumphant return of CAF after a four-year absence and will be an exciting celebration of the ongoing artistry of Jersey City, Hudson County, and beyond. Art House Productions announces the lineup for the ACCESS JC Fridays on Friday, June 7th. Jersey City’s premiere quarterly arts festival, which is free and open to the public, will showcase a variety of

events, including visual art exhibitions, music performances, studio tours, and more hosted at local businesses, galleries, studios, and arts organizations. Visitors are encouraged to travel from place to place to discover art and to
