Starting off as an art project in 2012, Olafur Eliasson and Frederik Ottesen co-founded Little Sun, developing small and portable solar lamps in a flower-sun body to off-grid communities.

‘The Kindred Project’ objective: students from Spain work with Uganda children to explore Little Sun’s solar education workshops for Earth Day 2017 - Ugandan children provided portable sources of light - Spanish students learn about the importance of the Sun for survival in these communities
