September 12, 2018 Dear SRAM customer, SRAM has discovered a performance issue with NX Eagle Rear Derailleurs built at SRAM between August 1 and August 16. Specifically, the derailleur could shift slowly or are not shift from the 50T to the 42T cog. The derailleur parallelogram friction is too high to allow some derailleurs to operate normally. Corrective action has been taken. The associated product identification is: T01AUG18 to T16AUG18 Our records indicate that you had orders fulfilled during that period. We will be contacting you shortly to discuss your stock status and our response. If you have stock of these derailleurs – please quarantine those derailleurs. If bikes were assembled and shipped - it will be most practical and economical to handle replacements at retail via the normal warranty process. SRAM is prepared to do this in all markets. Your SRAM Sales or Customer Service Representative will be contacting you shortly to confirm your stock status and how we will respond to rectify the situation. We regret any disruption this causes however are confident in resolving this issue quickly.
