This site installation focus on depicting societal participation in the natural landscape around. My group designed a place to just take a moment and talk to a stranger for as long as you want and you can choose from any prompt or your own prompt to talk about.
This topological transformation helps to develop a 3-D representation of any object. As well as to educate students on using materials and tools.
Repetition, light, color, and shadow, are important principles in design. Here we created a colorful space. First, we designed something on an eraser and then stamped it on an ink pad. We had to make our color plaid. Then we had to make origami.
This project emphasized 3D from a 2-dimensional pattern. In this project, people had to choose a textile and make it into a 3D form. The 3-dimensional object represents a piece of the textile.
For the bend, cut, and fold project you had to go to the museum and choose a painting. Then you have to cut and fold the important feature of your painting.
For this project you had to use the paper of the bas relief and choose a section of it. Then you had to make a site and then you had to choose an invisible city. Then from that, you had to make a space.
Bernd and Hilla Becher wanted to revolutionize the idea of New objectivity, which is a very popular design technique used in Germany on showing a straightforward way of showing art.
For this project you have to create a cube or cylinder. This project helps you better understand what materials are easier to work with and these also help with future projects.
