he chamber started out this year strong with over 140 members. Then the Covid-19 pandemic struck, forcing most of our businesses to close, putting life at a standstill. The chamber has communicated with our members via Zoom, email and Constant Contact. Since March, Ed Scharfberg the Oceanside Chamber President of Commerce has donated funds to feed the employees of Mount Sinai South Nassau hospital, assisted the Oceanside High School PTA with a graduation event, and the Oceanside Warriors who have been keeping up with the beautification of Oceanside. Currently, the Oceanside Chamber of Commerce is researching a plan that will benefit the businesses in Oceanside as well as the residents. Please explore our Facebook page or website.
