2 Cargo Bigger dogs and other animals can travel safely and comfortably in a ventilated and pressurized cargo hold.The fee varies depending on weight and size.
3 Shipping If you prefer, you can choose to send your pet unaccompanied throughAlaskaAir Cargo. Fees and requirements may vary.
Health Certificate
Vaccinations
Your pet must have a current health certificate issued by a veterinarian.
Your pet must be up-todate on all required vaccinations.
Age Restrictions
Puppies and kittens must be at least 8 weeks old to travel.
Pitbulls
Sorry, pitbulls and pitbull mixes are not allowed to travel on AlaskaAirlines due to safety concerns.
Rottweilers Rottweilers and rottweiler mixes are restricted and may only travel in cargo. Check with the airline for specific requirements.
Huskies
Huskies and malamutes are not allowed to travel onAlaska Airlines during hot weather months. Check with the airline for specific restrictions.
