W.I.N. – Want It Now

Leadership in Action | Visibility

President Hutchinson led the dedicated brothers of Rho Nu Lambda proudly and with excellence at: the 61st Annual Texas Council of Alpha Chapters Convention in Houston, Texas and the 79th Annual Southwestern Regional Convention in Little Rock, Arkansas. Brothers embraced the year's theme, "Investing in Alpha." This powerful gathering reinforced our commitment to leadership, brotherhood and service as we continue to invest in the future of our fraternity.

Train Like an Alpha

What an incredible turnout we had on March 1st! From start to finish, we pushed ourselves, broke a sweat, and embraced the importance of staying active, fit, and healthy.

National Programs – Texas State Capitol

On March 4th, a few dedicated brothers from Rho Nu Lambda made the journey to the State Capitol for Alpha Phi Alpha Day, joining fellow Alpha men from across the state in a day of advocacy, education and action. This annual event is powerful demonstration of our fraternity's commitment to leadership and service, as we engage directly with policymakers on critical issues affecting our communities.

Pretty Cold Happy Hour – DFW AKAs

On March 6th, the Pretty Girls of AKA and the Ice Cold Brothers of Alpha Phi Alpha showed up and showed out, celebrating in true style and class. From classic tunes to new hits, the mic stayed hot, and the vibes were even hotter.

Alpha Scholars & Project Alpha – Professional Dress

On March 8th, Rho Nu Lambda's Alpha Scholars participated in a professional dress educational experience focusing on the essentials of making a lasting first impression. From learning the proper way to tie a tie to the importance of personal hygiene and executing a firm handshake, these young men honed the skills needed to present themselves with confidence and professionalism. A strong first impression is what people remember. Through this experience, our scholars are now better prepared to navigate society with poise and purpose.

Rho Nu Games – Bowling Event

Our 4th annual Rho Nu Games – Bowling Edition was a HUGE success! The competition was fierce and the vibes were unmatched. From strikes to spares, to showing out on the dance floor with some smooth line dancing, we truly represented for the culture in every way!

If you missed it...whew, you missed a darn good time! But, don't worry, we'll be back next year, bigger and better. Shoutout to everyone who came through and made the night unforgettable.

On February 21st, our Scholarship Committee had an incredible time attending the annual HBCU College Fair at Hebron High School in Carrollton, TX! The energy in the room was electric as we engaged with so many bright and motivated students eager to learn more about our scholarship opportunities.

March of Dimes

March for Babies is a national initiative for our fraternity in partnership with the March of Dimes. Each year we raise funds and awareness for premature births and women maternity health. As advocates for our community it is important we support our families and love ones.
