A Typical Day at RGS Springfield Nursery Each day is carefully structured to offer a balance of learning, exploration and play. Morning arrivals take place between 7.45am – 9.00am where children are welcomed by a familiar member of staff.

Our mornings include free-flow play, structured learning sessions and specialist-led activities such as phonics, maths, music and outdoor exploration in our beautiful walled garden. A rolling snack café ensures children can refuel without disrupting their play.

At lunchtime, children enjoy a home cooked, nutritious two-course meal, served and supervised by our Early Years staff, with a focus on good table manners and independence.

The afternoon includes further opportunities for play and learning, with time spent outdoors in the paddock or nursery garden, or for those children who need to nap, a dedicated relaxation time. At 3.00pm the children will play games, sing songs and read stories ready for ‘little tea’ at 3.30pm (provided by parents).

After 3.30pm children have opportunities to play and enjoy stories and games with their friends, often outside in the warmer months, until home time.

We currently operate in line with The RGS Worcester Family of Schools Term-time. During the School Holidays, ‘Holiday Club’ childcare is available at RGS The Grange.

Delicious Home-Cooked Meals

Our children enjoy a freshly prepared two-course lunch each day, cooked on-site by our dedicated catering team.

Our balanced and nutritious meals encourage healthy eating habits while catering to dietary requirements. The weekly menu is shared with parents.

Session Information We offer Full Day Sessions from: 7.45am – 6.00pm.

Drop-off and pick-up times can be arranged within these hours to accommodate your schedule.

Fees and Funding RGS Springfield Nursery offers competitive rates with flexible options: Full Day Rate: £82 per day Full Time Termly Rate: £4,392 per term Registration Fee: £60 Acceptance Deposit payable on acceptance of an offer of a place: £120 We offer between 15 and 30 hours funding through the Government Scheme for children aged 2+ until the term in which they turn 5.

This support will reflect the prevailing Government regulations and is subject to a minimum of two days per week.

As we approach the time you would like your child to start, a home visit allows us to discuss your child’s interests, routines and needs, ensuring a smooth transition while giving you the chance to ask questions and get to know us.

Your child will join us for a taster session so they can experience life at Springfield Nursery.

Your child will be offered a place and begin their adventure with us, supported every step of the way by our caring team.
