ALWAYS STRIVE TO IMPROVE YOURSELF #TOGETHER
Today’s Reminders Daily Routine Reminders: Well done for immersing yourselves in remote learning in such a committed, mature way today. The staff are working tirelessly to become as proficient as possible with the technology; your support and co-operation are very much appreciated. Rest assured, we’ll get even better! Just a reminder about some of the key headlines for this week:
Tutors will be logged in and available between 8.45am and 9.15am. Every single student should make contact with their Tutors twice a day: once between 8.45am – 9.00am; once between 4.00pm – 4.15pm at the end of the day. Your Tutors will advise you how to do this.
The school timetable will be followed as closely as possible. All students should be logged into the appropriate class on Microsoft Teams for all periods when they would be taught, as per the timings of the school timetable. For the First Form, Period 5 will run from 12.05pm – 12.45pm in line with other year groups.
Social Distancing: The Press is full of concerns about social distancing; this is, however, a very real issue. Every single one of us has a responsibility to adhere strictly to the guidelines. Despite being young, you are, sadly, not immune or invincible. Younger people are increasingly being admitted to hospital. We absolutely must protect ourselves, our families and our key workers. This is a stark but important point of reflection: “If someone called you today and confirmed you tested positive for COVID-19 and asked you to list all the places you’ve been and all the people you’ve had contact with in the last 14 days would you feel proud or embarrassed?”
