Recently, the URV was awarded a certificate for implementing the SIGQ at the Faculty of Economics and Business, as part of a pilot project that has been carried out across the Catalan University System. International seals of quality Three bachelor’s courses at the School of Engineering (ETSE) and two bachelor’s courses and one master’s course at the School of Chemical Engineering (ETSEQ) have obtained the EURO-INF and EUR-ACE international seals of quality. At the ETSE, the Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering and the Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Electronic Engineering and Automation have been awarded the EUR-ACE® international quality seal, and the Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering has been awarded the EURO-INF international quality seal. At the ETSEQ, the Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering, the Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering and the Master’s Degree in Chemical Engineering have been awarded the EUR-ACE® international quality seal. All of these qualifications underwent the accreditation process during the 2015-16 academic year and passed with flying colours the evaluations carried out by AQU Catalunya and the National Agency for Quality Evaluation and Accreditation (ANECA). This has enabled them to obtain the international quality accreditations, which evaluate competencies specific to the field of engineering.
