STORY TELLING

Hello, my name is Paulina Rodríguez Ocaranza. Today I have decided to write about my experience in my Storytelling.

What does Storytelling mean?

Storytelling is using fact and narrative to communicate something to an audience. People do not necessarily remember what you say, but they do remember how you made them feel Tell a story that provides anemotion-based context backed by facts and power.

Well back to the topic, let us start with the experience. It was a typical day, and suddenly Miss Fernanda Cazares told us we would participate in Storytelling.

Felt very excited about this The teacher explained the instructions to all of us and the rubric on how everything would work.

Miss Fernanda assigned us the groups where we would present the Storytelling. Our team was Valentina, Mateo, and myself A few days later, we started thinking about what topic we would present After a few minutes, we presented the story of Hansel and Gretel

The characters I had to play were Gretel and Miss Fernanda, Mateo was Hansel, and Valentina was the narrator. The next day we started writing the story. When we finished, we started memorizing all our parts.

After a few days, it was finally time to present. We were characterized and ready to present.

Changing a classical story can be very interesting and so much fun. We enjoyed this new experience and hope everyone else will soon enjoy it Most importantly, all our f riends enjoyed the story and laughed a lot Thanks for reading this article, wishing soon to have another experience like this one

Hi, this is Nala Johanna Jablonski Mnguni. I am f rom 5th Blue, and I will discuss a fantastic experience.

It all started on October 5th, 2022, when we heard about storytelling and its characteristics My team of three other members and I had made a new recreation of "Little Red Riding Hood," but instead of calling it that, we chose to call it "The Little Blue Riding Hood, "

So as we started making the story, we had many obstacles along the way. When we started dividing the work, it was hard to see our roles, so as team leader, I put everyone in roles that would suit them the best and included their most vital points

Once everyone got their roles( I got The wolf ), we started working hard on it Some of us did the background of the Himalayas, towns, f riendship bracelets, etcetera Others researched sound effects like snowstorms, breezes, bird noises, and more. Then, I had to write the whole story It was not easy, but in the end, I managed. After writing and typing, a bunch of ideas finally became a great story. Furthermore, we are finally going back to October 14th, 2022, the day we presented the storytelling. I felt so nervous that I had to start putting sticky notes on my arms even though I already knew all the parts My teammates wore some outfits for the occasion, while I just wore a long dark blue sweater and untied my hair so it was spongy

Furthermore, in the end, everyone gave us a big applause. We all said our parts amazingly, acted with joy and compassion, and corresponded to our roles. Felt so proud of the whole team and was about to cry tears of joy.

Thanks so much for reading about this Storytelling experience. Appreciate it and am grateful to have participated in this Have a great day/night!

Hello, my name is Valentina Sánchez Rios of 4th grade and today I will talk about an interesting trip that my friends and I made to the fabulous Xcaret Park.

First, my classmates and I went to the aviary. It was awesome! There were a lot of birds of all types, small and big like toucans, green and red guacamayas, flamingos, and more! There were different types of plants, animals, and bacteria.

Then we visited the Aquarium (the most interesting part and obviously my favorite). We saw jellyfish, corals, fish, turtles, starfish, crabs, lobsters, and even a cat shark and of course much more. It was like magic but in real life and you can take photos, it was really fun!

Next, we visited the butterfly garden, we saw the process of how caterpillars become butterflies and that's not everything there were butterflies’ wings so you can take beautiful photos.

We passed dark tunnels and bridges but it was the greatest thing ever. Never in my whole life had an experience similar to this and also in this trip my classmates and I learned a lot! This trip was so worth it.

I Recommend Xcaret because it's a unique and unforgettable experience, you can learn so much from all the information and at the same time you are having fun, you can see a lot of animals, plants, and bacteria also you can take some beautiful and unique photos.

The only thing that I would change is that we would’ve loved some snacks, for example, some delicious tortillas that they prepared there.

I loved park Xcaret and I wish to come back soon.

Xcaret trip was very cool, I loved it. In Xcaret we learned many things, like about how the turtles are born, about the animals that are in high danger of extinction, also that they have birds that are saved, dead and alive animals, the bacteria that can be in different things, and shapes, the fish, animals, insects, birds, and butterflies, even if I saw just like five butterflies it was an amazing experience.

For me the most interesting part was when we were in the aquarium, the fish were very different and that was the thing that made them cool.

I really recommend Xcaret because it’s really good, you can stay all the time you want in there, there is an aquarium, birds, butterflies, giant turtles. Also, there’s a part where you can swim in the cenote and swim with the fish, and zip lines. And also I recommend you to stay in the Xcaret hotel, water park, and other cool things.

We learned a lot and most important we have a lot of fun in this field trip.
