On October 19 we went to Xcaret to ask Fernando Herrera, the director of music on Xcaret several questions in a place called La Chicharra.

My classmates asked several questions to which others wrote down what seemed important to them.

The questions he was asked were related to his work.

He told us that when he was little he had some cousins who were engineers, so he liked it so much that he became an engineer.

In the shows he makes the music

In 1984, the architect Miguel Quintana Pali acquired 5 hectares in the Riviera Maya to build his house. When he began to clear the land, he discovered that it had cenotes and underground rivers, so he decided to create a park so that everyone would have access to the natural beauties of the region. He started to make a cave but one night it collapsed and someone found it and created a show.

Unas semanas atrás realizamos nuestra primera salida EDS, como parte de nuestro proyecto fuimos a realizar una entrevista al director de espectáculos de Xcaret, por lo que te contaré un poco sobre ese día.

Al Director Fernando Herrera le gusta la música también es inteligente y trabajó en Pepsi Cola, etc . Él dirige los espectáculos de Xcaret y de los hoteles, nos comentó que están a su cargo 90 espectáculos al día.

El Ing. Fernando pensó que iba a trabajar en una fábrica y ahora es el Director General de los espectáculos de Xcaret, le gusta mucho Xcaret porque puede hacer lo que le gusta: la música, el arte etc. Nos mencionó que una de las cosas más importantes para crear los espectáculos es la música, la coreografía y lo más importante es la IMAGINACIÓN.

Para finalizar nuestra visita, nos fue dando ideas sobre cómo motivarnos y concentrarnos a la hora de crear algo. De igual forma, visitamos dos foros donde se nos compartió la historia de uno de ellos, que tiene contacto con el río y de cómo fueron visualizando el realizar espectáculos de música y teatro.

Nos compartió cómo ha ido creciendo en la empresa y de todo lo que ha vivido durante tantos años trabajando ahí, así como la relación de algunos de los espectáculos con la historia de México. Durante la entrevista, fuimos conociendo cómo se van armando los espectáculos, además de comentarnos sobre el premio que se ganó la empresa Xcaret con sus espectáculos.
