El tubo de Escornacrabes, popularmente conocido como “Escorna” termina en una amplia pala que domina la cabecera del valle de Bacivèr con espléndidas vistas de todo el entorno y nos deja en el corazón de este paraje. En este punto hay que cambiar de rumbo y tomar hacia la izquierda (Oeste) para ir perdiendo altura y entrar por el inicio del bosque y sorteando roquedos y barranquillos se desciende hasta llegar al río Malo, según nuestra habilidad y la altura que perdamos, tendremos que remar un poco en algún tramo, los snowboarders tienen siempre que caminar algún corto tramo. El descenso termina junto al aparcamiento del núcleo de Orri donde podemos tomar el telesilla Jorge Jordana para repetir el itinerario que después del tubo del Escorna se puede hacer por distintas variantes a cada cual más interesante, teniendo cuidado de no ir a parar a alguno de los muchos barranquillos rocosos que hay. En total, si se hace del tirón desde el Cap de Baqueira hasta Orri, se tarda una media hora en recorrer el tramo, aunque es muy aconsejable hacer paradas para admirar el paisaje y cualquier rincón puede ser estupendo para tomar el almuerzo y disfrutar del entorno.
The Escornacrabes pipe, commonly known as “Escorna”, ends in a wide slope overlooking the head of the Bacivèr valley, with a wonderful view of the surroundings, and it leaves us in the heart of this location. At this point we have to change direction, and turn to the left (west) to lose some height and enter the start of the woods. Avoiding some rocky areas and small ravines we descent into the river Malo, depending on our hability and the height we lose, we´ll have to row a bit in some sections (snowboarders always have to walk in some short sections). The descent ends next to the parking of the Orri core, where we can take the Jorge Jordana chairlift to repeat the itinerary, as after the Escorna pipe we can choose between different options (each even more interesting than the previous one), always taking care not to end up in one of the many rocky cliffs existing. As a whole, if it is made straight from the Cap of Baqueira to Orri, it takes about an hour to go across the section, although it is highly advisable to stop now and then to enjoy the view, and any spot can be perfect to have lunch and enjoy the surroundings.
