Es una nieve de calidad y abundante, pero más densa que en las zonas más continentales y que se humedece con cierta rapidez. Incluso en la zona baja podemos encontrar con cierta frecuencia nieves húmedas o costradas. Por supuesto que en las pistas la nieve siempre está perfectamente pisada y desde la cima hasta el pueblo encontraremos buenas “autopistas” con nieve perfecta casi siempre.
EL ESQUÍ Para disfrutar de Whistler-Blackcomb hace falta por lo menos un nivel medio, y así poder esquiar la mayoría de las pistas pisadas e incluso de las excursiones, ya que algunas pueden hacerse por pista azul desde ambas cimas hasta la base. Pero, sin duda, es un lugar para buscar largas excursiones, bosques exigentes, palas con inclinación y nieve sin pisar.

Even in the lowest parts, we can often find damp or crusty snow. Of course, the snow is always perfectly groomed on the pistes, and from the summit to the village we can find good “highways” with perfect snow.
SKIING To enjoy Whistler-Blackcomb we need at least a medium level of skiing, so that we can ski on most of the groomed pistes, and even for the hikes, as some of them are blue pistes from the peaks to the base. But this is, without any doubt, a place to look for long trips, demanding forests, steep slopes and non-groomed snow.
