histler Village se encuentra a unos 150 kilómetros al nordeste de Vancouver, capital de la Columbia Británica, tercera ciudad de Canadá (unos 2 millones de habitantes). A charming city, where the skycrapers downtown get mixed with residential neighbourhoods, harbour areas, woods and gardens, which make it a nice and welcoming city, considered the fifth best city in the world according to life quality, and with the sea and the mountains overlooking the horizon. From Vancouver, a good but very winding road goes up along the seaside, trimmed on the cliffs of the most southern fiord in the west coast of North America, up to the town of Squamish.
