A playful, modular lamp design made of sustainable materials, earth friendly and affordable.

Adaptable to many scenarios like ambient light in a room, in a cafe or restaurant.

Shapes, Inspiration Starting off with simple boxes, the idea developed to look like the islamic pattern “mafrouka�. With modular, even sized pieces stacked beside each other and a box in the middle, the lamp allows the user to control direct light, indirect light and both types of light to be available.

The modularity also allows expansion, different sizes and possibly even the development of larger shapes, with color, material and texture variations.

Materials list Opaque Sides of Boxes & Stand:

HDPE Sheets (recycled plastic) available in a variety of colors, sustainable material and opaque, not breakable when moving parts.

Diffused light boxes:

Plexi glass boxes, available in white and in a variety of colors, typically used to transmit light, diffusing it nicely.

Lighting unit:

LED sheets (new technology) mainly

by LG, can be used as one sheet to light entire unit.

Only downside is a bit costly but can be replaced with regular LED strips.
