Given that over 3,000 competitors would be descending on the city, this was a tall order for anyone and Paul and his team enrolled the help of a local Scout group to deadline.

At that time, Paul was still working under the stewardship of his father, Robert, who had started the business in 1985 alongside his mother, Jo. Moonlight Textiles actually started life as a party planning business but soon evolved into selling slight second ready-made curtains from Eversure Textiles, a huge manufacturing company based out what is now Meadowhall.

Today, Moonlight specialises in the measurement, manufacture, supply and installation of bespoke, made-to-measure blinds, curtains, tracks and poles for both the domestic and commercial markets.

A very big house in the COUNTRY...

Thornbridge Hall takes great pride in being that little bit different. From house tours to grand gardens, it’s the perfect place to explore this summer.

Visitors to our corner of the Peak District are often spoilt for choice with things to see and do. There are hills to walk, crags to climb, trails to cycle and an abundance to enjoy. Then there are the plethora of country houses to discover, many of which are brimming with history and culture.

Thornbridge Hall, which takes great pride in being that little bit different.

Originally a Jacobean country house built in 1871, Thornbridge eventually became the home of Charles Boot, head of a

it as a teacher training college and later a

In 1997 it was bought back into private ownership and in 2002 was purchased by Emma and Jim Harrison who have renovating the house and gardens of this spectacular property.

Thornbridge Hall is Grade II listed and is set in 80 acres of stunning parkland just up the road from Ashford in the Water.

It’s often been described as ‘the quirkiest stately home in the UK’, a tribute to the Harrison’s style and openness with their visitors who enjoy the type of access that is so often restricted in similar houses.

“Thank goodness it’s been described as quirky,” laughs Emma. “What would be awful would be ‘stately’, ‘dull’, ‘unwelcoming’. We are the exact opposite. Sit anywhere, no ropes, no barriers, no signs telling you what you can’t do.

“Quite frankly it represents me, our family and the Thornbridge team. Where else would you see an enormous dining table covered with vast Lego structures and or/skeletons dogs on tours sitting on the sofas?”

House tours have been a recent addition and have proved really popular with visitors.

“People come up to me and say that is the best house tour they have ever had, they write about them on Tripadvisor,” adds Emma. “Our tour guides are, in a word –fantastic, fun and down to earth. They love the place just as much as we do, our visitors can see that. I often bump into the tours and

all the tour guides plans go awry… I ruin the timings of the tour, everything falls to pieces, but we have a hilarious time.”

Thornbridge Hall’s appeal extends beyond the house; there are ten acres of formal gardens, which were originally designed at the end of the 19th century to create a vision of ‘1,000 shades of green’, which the owner wanted to see from his bedroom window. Today, there are many distinct areas including an Italian Garden, 30m Herbaceous Border, Water Garden and Koi Lake as well as terraced lawns overlooking the beautiful Derbyshire countryside.

Visitors will also come across three temples, numerous statues, 46 urns and two grottos, all of which were incorporated into the garden in the 1890s. Some of the statuary came from Clumber Park and Chatsworth while some were gifts from the Greek government.

“We are an RHS partner garden which is a great honour,” says Emma. “The gardens, looked after by Mark, Noah, Sue and all of our lovely volunteers never fail to surprise me. They move on, they are forever

Visitors marvel at the house on one of the guided tours

changing. I can turn a corner and see the colours and the green and my heart bursts with sheer happiness. Haven’t got a clue what any of the plans are, but my god they look good year round.”

As well as developing the house and gardens, the Harrisons are keen to make Thornbridge sustainable for future generations and are putting plans in place to set up a trust, which will preserve it for the public forever.

“In essence, Jim and I are going to gift Thornbridge to the trust that we establish

so that it will always be Thornbridge for everyone, forever,” explains Emma. “The thought of an oligarch or swanky hotel moving in and shutting the gates makes me feel sick. It will not happen.”

Key to this sustainability is growing visitor numbers, which are already increasing year on year. The addition of the Quackers Café and The Emporium (garden centre) strengthened this appeal. Free parking is readily available and the close proximity to the Monsal Trail is also a big draw.

One of the most recent additions, and located next to the café, is the ‘Love Locker’, which showcases the infamous 40,000 padlocks that were rescued from the

The Locks’ campaign, it was Emma who stepped in at the last minute to give them a new home.

“I had no idea what it would entail, but the thought of 40,000 memories being sold for scrap made me sick,” recalls Emma.

“Our tour guides are, in a word – fantastic, fun and down to earth. They love the place just as much as we do, our visitors can see that. I often bump into the tours and all the tour guides plans go awry… I ruin the timings of the tour, everything falls to pieces, but we have a hilarious time.”

support the Thornbridge 4 Everyone Foundation or back into the Estate. The Foundation provides experiences and days out for children and adults around the UK who otherwise would not be able to afford it. The Foundation also allows access to all of our wonderful spaces to charities and groups for free.”

Despite the growing success of Thornbridge Hall, the Harrisons aren’t resting on their laurels and are constantly working to improve.

“I want to hear people going OOO,

Emma. “We will never stop developing Thornbridge because what we care about is people having the best day out ever.”

New for this year are the

wonderous surprises and even a shack full of Lego. There are events and

year round and workshops – everything

hugely popular.

But while the focus is on enhancing visitor experiences and making Thornbridge an independent entity, the obvious question is, how does this affect the Harrisons themselves? After all, this is their family home – are they happy sharing it with so many people?

“It’s been the most exciting journey ever and continues tomorrow and the day after,” explains Emma. “It gave Jim and I the opportunity to work together on a project we both cared about. Before that we both had our own companies, and we didn’t dare to interfere. We love each other and we love Thornbridge, that gives us loads to talk about.

“For those that really know me know that I love working in the café. Clearing tables, toilet checks and serving behind the counter. I absolutely love it and love meeting everybody. I have just come here off the back of the two busiest days we’ve had. Feet throbbing, loving life.”

They’re two of the most green-spaced areas in the city but have much more to offer. We take a closer look at Oakbrook Road and Fulwood Road.

akbrook Road is one of those thoroughfares that wouldn’t look out of place in any other major city of the world.

Just up from Endcliffe Park and backing onto Bingham Park, it is home to shops, cafes, restaurants and small, independent businesses that are the pride of the area.

of £342,000 in 2021, The Times named Fulwood and Ranmoor in their list of best places to live in the North Neighbouring Fulwood Road is equally desirable with average house prices of £289,845 achieved last year.

Flats on average sold over the last 12 months for £215,056, terraced houses £500,000, detached properties

£361,350

and semi-detached houses £535,000.

The suburb is popular amongst middleaged people and families in particular with the suburb being home to a number of brilliant primary schools, and plenty of secondary schools are nearby.

Fulwood is located at one of city’s highest points, and from certain spots in the area, you can get a brilliant view of the whole city and views of open green space can be seen from your windows, giving residents a unique and much quieter city life.

What’s there?

Both Oakbrook Road and Fulwood Road have all of the conveniences you will need on your doorstep. The roads have a hairdressers and even have a pharmacy, independent shops.

offers plenty of great transport links and safe walks to almost every part of the city, but what is even better than this is the vast range of activities that Oakbrook Road and Fulwood Road have to offer.

Things to do:

As well as having the excitement of living roads are surrounded by an abundance of activities for all of the family. Whether you are a sportsperson or you enjoy history and culture, Oakbrook Road and Fulwood Road are only minutes away from it all.

If you are looking for some inspiration of activities to do now that the lockdown is gradually lifting, or for some socially distanced activities that get you out of the house, a list of nearby things to do that Oakbrook Road and Fulwood Road have to offer can be read below.

Bingham Park and Whiteley Woods Houses on Oakbrook Road

have a stunning view of the green space next door to them - Bingham Park and Whitley Woods, located alongside the Porter Brook River. The park is sat on the top of a hill which gives walkers the perfect view of the surrounding areas, including Ranmoor’s St John’s Church, a grade II-listed building with a past that holds a tragic story for those who are interested in history.

The park has recently refurbished tennis courts, which can be hired for 55 minutes for just £6, as well as a netball and basketball court. There is a court suitable for use with skateboards and bikes, a bowling green and it even as an AstroTurf area with goal posts to play football making Bingham Park the perfect spot for all kinds of sportspeople.

Joined onto Bingham Park is Whiteley Woods, a lovely place for a picnic, walk, run, or cycle with the path taking you through a woodland and along the Porter Brook river.

Forge Dam

Walk through Whiteley Woods towards Fulwood and you’ll happen upon Forge Dam, a popular destination for families and walkers. It provides a beautiful place to stop for a break to admire the views or to enjoy a drink or something to eat from the cafe. There is also a children’s playground with a much talked about slide built into the hillside.

The dam itself is silting up very quickly and a restoration project is underway to

island and install a submerged wall which will prevent the dam from silting up again. All this work is being led by the Friends of the Porter Valley group.

Zirconium is a naturally silver-grey metal and be combined with more traditional precious metals

Did you know there’s a sleek and stylish alternative to traditional gold or platinum?

or those considering an alternative to traditional gold or platinum wedding bands, there has never been greater choice, and one of the newer materials in the marketplace is black zirconium. Our Zedd collection shows off the possibilities of this versatile metal, combining it with more traditional precious metals in an array of sleek and stylish designs.

Zirconium is a naturally silver-grey metal that undergoes a stunning transformation when heated in just the right way, taking on a sleek and striking black hue when heated to high temperatures in the presence of oxygen. The process creates a beautiful and durable black oxidised layer on the surface of the metal, which can be worked

depending on your preference.

There are many advantages to zirconium as a metal for jewellery. Hypoallergenic, it is safe to wear for those with sensitive skin and nickel allergies, and since it is also lightweight, it is very comfortable to wear. Zirconium is also highly resistant

to both heat and corrosion, making it an ideal material for regular wear. As with any material that will be worn on a regular basis though, it is best to heed care advice to increase longevity and keep your jewellery looking at its best.

Our Zedd collection of black zirconium rings combines the black metal with traditional precious metals, stylishly fusing the classic and contemporary. This adds an extra feeling of luxury to the product and creates opportunity for a wide range of distinctive looks, with yellow, white, or rose gold, platinum, or silver options available. Designs can place the focus more on either the zirconium or the precious metal, depending on whether you want the black colour to be a highlight or the main feature. Some designs display only zirconium on the outside, keeping the precious part a secret, that may be engraved to commemorate an important occasion or convey a special message.

Excitingly, Zedd also offers a range of designs featuring colourless or black diamonds, adding some extra sparkle

alongside the metal’s high shine, or to contrast its brushed beauty. The opportunities to express your individual style are vast, and all with that signature solid black starting point.

All our Zedd rings are designed and manufactured in Birmingham’s Jewellery Quarter, where the precious metal elements also receive their hallmark

Jewellery Quarter is the perfect place to make pieces that combine traditional materials and jewellery-making expertise with contemporary style and high-quality manufacturing; rooted in centuries of history while continuing to develop and innovate.

You can view a selection of Zedd black zirconium rings in our showroom, with far more available to special order.

Claire Parish, owner of The Bridal Box Boutique in Stocksbridge, answers common questions surrounding buying a wedding dress.

As soon as you are ready to buy your dream dress - start looking! If you are not ready to buy, then give yourself a bit more time. Styles change so there’s no point looking too early but approximately 10-12 months before your wedding is a good time. On

Don’t worry - that’s what bridal stylists are there for. An appointment that allows you to try on different styles, shapes, necklines and colours is a good place to start, trying on a variety also helps validate any decision you do make. Don’t over shop though - you can get overwhelmed.

Dress prices can vary wildly depending

on quality, but an average price point for a good quality gown is between £1,8002,500. Off the peg dresses are a bit cheaper so this is also a good option if you’re on a budget. Always work out your dress budget before you go shopping and research the shops you want to visit before you make an appointment to make sure their price point is within your budget. Trying on dresses outside your budget is not a good idea - you can guarantee you’ll fall for something that may be out of your price range.

With summer holidays on the horizon, swimwear takes centre stage in this month’s fashion pages. By Rosie Brennan.

Swimwear

Dive into swimwear staples this summer and bring a chic elegance to your typical poolside look. If you’ve got a few marked nothing but beachside relaxing, why not invest in a chic, stylish swimsuit to re-wear again and again to your favourite holiday spots?

A one-piece doesn’t have to be boring. Play with pattern, colour and shape with unique necklines and one-shoulder swimsuits, adding some edge to a classic beachy look.

A simple twist detail incorporates into a one piece not only creates a very texture and shape to an otherwise standard in full swing, particularly bold and exotic pinks and oranges, a perfect addition to your holiday packing.

If opting for more muted tones, feel free to play with pattern. The trendy-yettimeless polka dot is a fun way to mix

ones. Horizontal stripes are also a brilliant option, as sailorcore has been a key trend on SS25 runways from huge names like Ralph Lauren, bringing nautical-inspired fashion to the forefront. Deep navy or black stripes contrasted with a bright white bring a fun pattern and vintage aesthetic to swimwear in 2025.

season, which starts in the autumn, she will be hoping to emulate this kind of engagement that extends far beyond the auditoria. And with talks of football pitches, double-decker buses and more, she might well just do it.

Elizabeth took up her new post in December 2024 after seven years at Pitlochry Festival Theatre in Scotland, replacing outgoing artistic director Robert Hastie. Previously she was also artistic director at the Octagon Theatre, Bolton, the Shared Property Theatre Company, and was deputy artistic director at the Southwark Playhouse in London.

family, she already feels at home and reaction to the new season announcement has been incredibly positive.

it’s full, it’s vibrant and I feel very at home in different ways,” Elizabeth said. “It’s a big change for the organisation when the artistic director changes but it’s been brilliant, the team here are really lovely.”

Elizabeth joined an executive team that also includes chief executive Tom Bird and deputy chief executive Bookey Oshin. It’s a dynamic she’s worked in before and one that clicked straight away.

“That relationship between chief exec and artistic director, you sort of have to be one brain almost,” added Elizabeth. “Very naturally it became that without much effort, which is always the best way. The main thing is, we smile. If you can come into work and make each other smile, then

be Dancing at Lughnasa, a play by dramatist Brian Friel set in County Donegal,

town of Ballybeg. It is a memory play told from the point of view of the adult Michael Evans, the narrator, who recounts the summer in his aunts’ cottage.

A huge fan Friel’s work, Elizabeth had huge success north of the border with another of his works, Faith Healer, which she toured around the highlands and islands and won loads of awards for.

“It was one of the most profound experiences of my life with three extraordinary actors – George Costigan, Kirsty Stuart and an amazing man called

It felt important to me that we continue the history of doing great plays in the Crucible.”

As I speak to Elizabeth, casting is already well underway with local auditions seeing her meet 175 actors in two days.

Following the Christmas production – A Christmas Carol – the start of 2026 will see Shakespeare return to the Crucible’s thrust stage in the form of Macbeth.

“This will be a new adaptation done with the Utopia Theatre Company,” said Elizabeth. “I think it’s one of the greatest plays ever written in regards in how to understand writing and humanity and politics and the interaction between the two. The idea of doing a new version felt really

exciting and doing it with Utopia felt really special.”

Which then brings us to the football pitch.

The Ladies Football Club is a brand-new production that explores the remarkable origins of war-time women workers making football their own. Running from 28 February to 28 March, Elizabeth is hoping to capitalise on the growing support for women’s football by turning Tudor Square into an arena with the intention of hosting a community tournament, highlighting these trailblazers even further. Tim Firth is already on board and is already writing brass music for the production.

This same square may then have a double-decker bus adorning its cobbles

summer of 2026 as Summer Holiday rolls into town, another play that is very familiar to Elizabeth.

“I’ve done it a couple of time before,” she commented. “It really is an amazing musical, it’s banger after banger after banger… it feels really vibrant. It’s about people going out into the world, it’s about freedom of movement and travel, it’s about encountering cultures that are different to your own and about living your own destiny, that feels pretty important for now.

“The play will happen in the Crucible but probably break the line around the edge… if I’ve got my way you’ll be dancing on the stage by the end.”

proud of their theatres,” she beamed. “And also that we ensure that every child and young person has access to the theatre. That we are a place for artists to thrive and where they are nourished, supported and loved.

“My task as artistic director is to cultivate and generate, nourish that sense of belonging for everyone in the city with the theatres.”

Liliane Tomasko: The Psyche of the Portrait

Until 12 October / Millennium Gallery

This summer, a new exhibition by New York-based visual artist Liliane Tomasko responds to examples of portraiture from own abstract vocabulary. Shedding light on the ever-changing human psyche, The Psyche of the Portrait presents new work by Tomasko directly responding to portraits by Frank Auerbach, Pierre Bonnard, Kees Van Dongen, and Eduardo Paolozzi.

An abiding interest in the subconscious runs as a thread through the work of Liliane Tomasko – whether interrogating the uncanny of the seeming emptiness of the corner of a room, to the rumpled sheets of a slept-in bed, her dynamic, sweeping brushstrokes converge to erase,

transcend, interrogate, or reframe any recognisable origins.

For The Psyche of the Portrait, Tomasko takes a bold new direction, has chosen that are in, or on loan to,

typically a surface endeavour, Tomasko’s aim is to go deeper, so each of the four portraits, by Frank Auerbach. Pierre Bonnard, Kees Van Dongen and Eduardo Paolozzi, was chosen for what it offers as a doorway to psychological thought.

What emerges in Tomasko’s new paintings, created especially for the exhibition, deftly draws parallels between the creation of those original works and the historical development of psychological study in the 20th century. Together, they question the psychological power dynamics of artist and sitter, query the role of the subconscious in the creative act, and reimagine parables in the context of our 21st century anxieties.

Peak District PERFECTION

The Bulls Head Inn continues a two-century legacy of warm hospitality as discovered on a visit by Janine Sterland.

t’s a sun-drenched late spring evening in Foolow and The Bulls Head Inn at the heart of Derbyshire’s quintessential limestone village is thriving with the chattering of families and friends congregating in the balmy sunshine.

Amongst a blend of conversations, laughter and a chink of glasses, there is a strong sense of belonging and this being a vibrant social hub – an essential role in the village which the inn has now retained for over 200 years.

As the last surviving pub in Foolow and believed to date back to at least 1758,

others – a popularity attained from a time of expansion where the village became a turnpike road.

Whilst these winding roads leading to The Bulls Head were likely well-trodden by traders of the time, fast-forward to modern times, and this idyllic village pub has evolved into a Peak District foodie destination. It now offers an ideal stop to stay and explore the area’s surrounding gems with Eyam and Chatsworth House only a few miles away.

A warm welcome greets us from general manager Leigh, dutyman Dave, and Louie at the bar - an intriguing design encircled by an assortment of rustic wine plaques. A theme of curiosities is continued throughout the pub where rural historic pieces such as horse brass medallions hang beneath oak beams and antique homeware utensils

Next, we opt for one of The Bulls Head’s classic main offerings; an 8oz rump steak (£24) with triple cooked chips and a Cumberland sausage served with

accompanying Lincolnshire poacher infused mash and minted peas (£17.50). Rest assured, as with our starters, these are served generously and cooked to perfection. Hats off to head chef Blake alongside Oscar and Richard for their skills in delivering a tender steak, onion rings with bite and a sumptuous peppercorn sauce (£3 supplement). They say there is always room for a pudding - and today is no exception, as we end with a devilishly good sticky ginger sponge drenched in a salted toffee sauce alongside clotted cream ice cream, all scattered liberally with rum-soaked raisins. We follow this indulgence with Bakewell pudding - Derbyshire’s original recipe made with buttery puff pastry which inevitably becomes smothered in its accompanying rich vanilla bean custard (both £7.50).

Matthew Rhodes goes back to school... again.

ith the long Easter bank holiday weekend upon us, I decided to start it early on the Wednesday afternoon having managed to skive off work at lunchtime to meet a friend for a quick round of golf and then a night out.

The friend in question was like a kid in a sweet shop with the anticipation of good food and debauchery ahead of us. As a currency trader of 30 years in the city and now working remotely from the sleepy village of Fulwood, he is no stranger to a few drinks on a school night.

I had originally planned to drive, but on the second tee the wily silver fox demanded that we organise taxis, and we headed to the

We ordered two perfectly poured pints of Guinness which we drank whilst my raconteur friend began to regale me with stories from The Square Mile told in his thoroughly engaging Southend twang. If only his golf was as good as his stories!

In need of some sustenance we headed into a lovely well-lit upstairs dining room and local supervisor Georgia told us about the history of the building which used to be a school with six children per class and

a dinner time bell that was a local farmer using a sheep whistle!

It is now a beautifully renovated restaurant by night, which also serves breakfast, lunch and a famous Sunday roast (£17 for a main course) – be sure to book in advance to avoid disappointment on Sundays.

I chose Whitby Crabcake to start, followed by Ribeye Steak, served with tomato, mushrooms and chips. City Boy went for Gambas al Ajillo and Beef Shin Rigatoni and we shared a cracking bottle of Chilean Pinot Noir (£32). The crabcake was slightly dry, but the fantastic homemade tartar sauce compensated. His Gambas was the better choice, with plenty of juicy big prawns balanced beautifully with the smoky garlic oil.

My steak was cooked perfectly, and

I cheekily requested Béarnaise and Peppercorn sauces, one for the chips and one for the steak!! An excellent suggestion from my man whose skilful ordering in restaurants was honed during his years spent pillaging a large expenses account in London.

For dessert I was pleased they had my favourite Tiramisu, which was indulgent yet light.

Just as expected he ordered Espresso Martinis and a chocolate brownie with crushed Oreos and vanilla ice cream. He was clearly off his long run tonight and I was enjoying his story-telling so was happy for the night to go on longer. We rounded the evening off with a “Godfather” (double Amaretto and Whisky FYI), whilst we waited for the taxi home.

I now realise why he moved away from London as I don’t think he would still be alive if this was a regular occurrence! The food at the Assembly Bar was fantastic and the service its equal. I will be back again, next time for a less boozy visit with my family involving a nice walk round

sure my family will entertain me half as much!

TA

new menu provides a new experience at The Maynard for Richard Abbey.

he launch of a new menu always provides a good excuse to revisit a favourite venue and it was for this reason that I found myself at The Maynard on a sunny Friday lunchtime.

I’d love to say I’d made the most of the surrounding countryside – and the weather – and enjoyed a lovely walk before settling down in the charming dining room of the 15th century hotel, restaurant and wedding venue but this was a working day so I was grateful for the respite.

And there are few better places to relax.

The Maynard underwent an extensive refurbishment two years ago and the upgrades still look as fresh as they did then.

windows that look out onto a huge terrace light.

It has very much a boutique feel with service personal and friendly, just what you need to feel welcome and comfortable.

Under the stewardship of Rob Hattersley, The Maynard has become a familiar and consistent face on the Derbyshire dining scene. Its purchase proved to be the catalyst for a growing portfolio, which now includes The George in Hathersage, The Ashford Arms, The Peacock at Owler Bar and, more

recently, The Peacock at Rowsley – and there’s more to come. All the venues sit under the Longbow Venues umbrella.

If you’ve dined at any of these venues you’ll be familiar with the extensive menus that showcase the best of the Peak District and run throughout the day. There are no separate lunch and dinner menus but dishes that complement whatever time of day you happen to be dining, or your mood for the matter.

Given that I’d arrived for lunch you could perhaps be forgiven for thinking I would be drawn to the lighter sandwiches, salads, burgers and sharing boards but, given this was a new menu after all, it would have been remiss to not have sampled some of the new dishes, which included Thai green arancini, Mussel mouclade and sea bream.

Euphoric EVENING

Classic Ibiza returns to the stunning grounds of Chatsworth House on Saturday 12 July, promising

White Isle-inspired dance music to mark its tenth birthday.

To celebrate, you’ll be taken on a highoctane rollercoaster ride of the show’s most popular tracks, with an unmissable performance by some very special guests. Gates open at 5.30pm, followed shortly by a DJ set by former Pacha Ibiza resident, DJ Jose Luis. He’ll be spinning Afro/Latininfused house, as you soak up Chatsworth’s exquisite scenery over your picnics.

Towards the end of his set, London Community Gospel Choir (LCGC) make

special guests. LCGC are one of the world’s most in demand choirs, having recorded with music icons such as Adele, Blur and Madonna. They’re also due to grace the stage at Pacha Ibiza (Flower Power) in June. Together, they’ll be performing a live

mash-up of uplifting house, giving you a tantalising glimpse of what’s to come.

At 8pm, the party gets into full-swing as Stephen Hussey’s 32-piece Urban Soul Orchestra (USO) take centre stage for the Adnams Sundowner Set. They’ll also be joined by LCGC and DJ Goldierocks, creating a soulful wall of sound on classic house tracks like “You’ve Got The Love” and “Lola’s Theme”. USO have worked for over 25 years with many dance music greats, including Groove Armada, Robert Miles and Nightmares On Wax.

At 9pm, Classic Ibiza’s very-own DJ Goldierocks takes control of the decks for a set of deep house anthems. Goldierocks has performed at endless festivals and clubs all over the world, including Ministry of Sound, Pacha Ibiza and Glastonbury.

Then at 9.30pm, USO return to the stage for the Dance Set, the evening’s main event. As night falls, Chatsworth’s grounds will be transformed into a magical alfresco nightclub, with a stunning laser and light

show. Their hour-and-a-half set is packed full of stone-cold house classics from the likes of The Chemical Brothers, The Prodigy and Faithless.

By the time the concert draws to a close at 11pm, USO will have performed over 50 tracks from the show’s ten-year repertoire -

Car parking is free, bring your own picnic, or visit the local street-food vendors and Adnams Bar on site. Just don’t forget to pack your dancing shoes and be ready to soak up the family-friendly vibe.

Demand for tickets to Classic Ibiza’s tenth anniversary tour is high, with a number of venues having already sold-out. Get your tickets now if you don’t want to miss the fun.

The show is proud to be supporting Chatsworth House Trust and Ashgate Hospice.
