RHCA HEADQUARTERS REMODEL
Phase8:NorthExteriorRenovationCompletions
As we approach the final stages of our project, the RHCA Headquarters has made significant advancements toward total completion. The exterior of the building has seen considerable progress, including the major completion of the north side wall, driveway, sidewalks, and patio soil stabilization. The RHCA commends MPO Solutions for helping bring our vision to life in this building, and we appreciate the quality of their work as we see the project come together.
The installation of the patio wall facing the north side of West Illinois Avenue is a recent addition to the building that the community has noticed in the past few weeks On Friday, January 3rd, MW Panel installed the pre-cast RHCA Logo Panels, completing the patio wall. This emblem represents what the RHCA stands for in solidifying the contributions of contractors and designers, as well as our appreciation for their work.
A key milestone in completing the exterior of the RHCA Headquarters has been the new driveway entrance, along with the north-side sidewalks along West Illinois Avenue From the design work to securing permits from the City of Dallas Right-of-Way, this has been a major achievement for the organization, as we now have a new entrance for our parking lot.
Patio Stabilization
More than just a patio for the RHCA Headquarters, this space will symbolize a new area for gathering, socializing, and connecting with our members. As the project nears completion, the patio has undergone the installation of a perforated 6-inch PVC pipe to facilitate drainage from the permeable pavers Gravel and geotechnical sheets will be installed, followed by grading, stabilization, and compacting of the soil This will solidify the patio in preparation for the installation of permeable pavers by the end of January 2025.
Building Together: Diversity and Growth in our Project Team
A total of 254 subcontractors have successfully completed Fall Protection training through the RHCA to safely work on our project to date. We take great pride in striving for a safer work environment, prioritizing our contractors' safety above all else. Additionally, 28 RHCA members participated in the project, emphasizing that equal opportunity is crucial to the RHCA. This project has involved representation from 12 minority-owned businesses, including 4 women-owned businesses, fostering collaboration with underrepresented groups within the construction industry.
Collectively, we are dedicated to constructing buildings and a community that not only enhances our workforce but also improves the projects we undertake.

To prevent slips, trips, and falls, employers should clear snow and ice from walking surfaces, and spread deicer, as quickly as possible after a winter storm
