PhaseThree

The utility contractor is preparing to collaborate with the RHCA and The City of Dallas to ensure the successful completion of the fire line, integral to activating the new fire riser and sprinkler system within the facility

RHCA HEADQUARTERS REMODEL

Patio: Landscaping for the Future

The RHCA prides itself on its commitment to inclusivity and offers a diverse array of events designed to foster networking opportunities

Our objective for the new northfacing Patio is to establish an inviting space suitable for community events The Patio's features will encompass a 9-foot-tall enginer-red sound wall panel covering the northern facade

Additionally, the area will be landscaped to incorporate new lanscaping, bushes, trees, and permeable pavers. We will also equip the space to ensure it can host guest speakers and outdoor gatherings and networking events

Parking Lot

Site Work and Material Testing

Implementing a new parking lot on the eastern side of the building will bring significant enhancements to the facility

The site's progression has included multiple phases over the past several months, encompassing clearing, grading, and soil stabilization

Soil testing facilitated by members of the RHCA has been instrumental in establishing the work's outcomes Subsequent phases will involve the placement of rebar, formwork installation, and concrete pouring.

We are poised to actualize the new building extension, thereby bridging the land gap and culminating in the facility's unification and completion

Fire Line

Pre-Construction Meeting and Materials

A significant renovation is currently in progress to enhance the longterm functionality of the facility

The RHCA, City of Dallas, and the General Contractor convened for a Pre-Construction meeting this month to initiate the three-way construction project

This collaborative endeavor will prioritize coordination with traffic control and local businesses to ensure the safety of all individuals in the vicinity

RHCA HEADQUARTERS

The utility contractor commenced the process by utilizing sawcutting techniques to locate the 16" main, followed by excavation and hammerdrilling to facilitate the placement of the fire vault Subsequently, the upcoming phase will encompass trenching activities across all six lanes of the North Side Facing Illinois Ave

Building Together: Diversity and Growth in our Project Team

We take great pride in announcing that a total of 128 subcontractors have successfully completed our Fall Protection Program in recent months. Furthermore, we are delighted to welcome 4 new members, resulting in a total team size of 23 individuals. Within this cohort, 12 represent minorityowned businesses and 4 are women-owned, fostering opportunities for collaboration with underrepresented groups within the construction industry on our project. Collectively, we are dedicated to the construction of buildings and a community that not only enhance our workforce, but also the projects we undertake.
