f you’re the type who goes to Pizza Hut for the salad bar, or fast food joints for an authentic American experience, perhaps Milano is not for you… unless you’re ready to take a significant step up into a new world of freshness, colour and flavour! On an extensive menu, you’ll find the usual suspects from antipasti to dolci, not to mention a fine selection of wines, coffees & liquors to complement your repast. I’m a Lasagna man … and it doesn’t get any better than this. Add a caesar salad if you’re alone, but it’s wise to go with friends, so you can sample more dishes. You can choose your pasta and topping, and I suggest the Carbonara – smooth, creamy and delicious!
Chef Giorgio Dettori, a veteran purveyor of Italian cuisine for the past 37 years recommends the Four Cheese Pizza; what look like bruises simmering just below the surface turn out to be blue cheese - certainly not to be missed if you’re a cheese afficionado. But I like meat on my pizza and recommend the Parma Ham with mushrooms, though the variety will keep me coming back for further culinary adventures.
