Laverstock Care Centre welcomes local community Residents at Laverstock Care Centre threw its doors open to the community by hosting a vintage Victorian tea party in support of National Care Home Open Day (NCHOD) recently.
The London Road home used the event as an opportunity to invite neighbours around for tea so that they could get to know each other over a cuppa. Helpers on the day included volunteer students from St Edmund’s Girls’ School, Salisbury. The girls helped by serving tea for the residents and decorating fairy cakes.
Located on the outskirts of Salisbury, Laverstock Care Centre is a purpose-built home that provides residential, specialist nursing and dementia care for up to 80 elderly ladies and gentlemen.
