RAÚL MARCOS Comptroller Manager “I am very pleased to be part of the NEWTON COLLEGE family, which is such a prestigious institution thanks to its educational quality. I am excited and motivated by this new challenge and goals to reach, and would like to contribute to the ongoing growth of this organisation I now belong to. I hold a Master in Business Administration and a Master in Corporate Finances and Financial Risks. I am a Public Associated Accountant specialised in IFRS and Tax. I have worked in several economic sectors such as education, energy, industrial, technology and services, with the goal to continuously learn and to be able to cover the needs and demands inherent to the development and changes of our economic environment. My goal is to support the improvement of financial policies and processes of the organisation in order to provide financial information upon request. I am sure that with everyone’s ideas, experiences and knowledge we shall be able to reach our goals. Therefore, you may contact me whenever you would like and I shall gladly assist you. Furthermore, I would like to thank the whole team: with your support and commitment we will achieve all our goals.”

INSPIRING STORIES EVA PANCCA ACCOUNTING COORDINATOR ¡Congratulations, champion! summit! You did it!

You've

reached

the

It was 11:15 am on Sunday, November 12, 2023, and these words echoed in my ears as my eyes filled with tears, and my heart burst with emotion at 5,825 meters above sea level on the summit of the Majestic Misti Volcano. I achieved this experience as a participant in the Misti Sky Race 2023 sports event on the 26-kilometer route starting from the Aguada Blanca reservoir and ending in the Pampas del Misti. The ascent was very challenging due to the altitude, weather changes, and the difficulty of the terrain. I constantly reminded myself that every step, no matter how small, brought me closer to the summit and that giving up was not an option. My mental and physical strength were put to the test as I recalled the reasons that led me to register, the training, and the advice of my teammates from Team Penta Run, with whom I share a passion for trail running. I take away from this experience that we all have summits in front of our eyes to conquer, and we would be surprised at what we are capable of achieving. Thank you very much.

IF YOU ARE INVOLVED IN ANY ACTIVITIES OR HAVE ANY HOBBIES THAT YOU WOULD LIKE TO SHARE WITH THE STAFF, PLEASE DO NOT HESITATE TO SEND THEM TO THE FOLLOWING EMAIL ADDRESS. WE WOULD BE DELIGHTED TO RECEIVE THEM. SOLEY.ORTIZ@NEWTON.EDU.PE 09

This insurance grants compensations to beneficiaries who must be registered by the collaborator through an “Affidavit of Beneficiaries”. Such a format must be completed, notarised (at any notary in Lima) and handed in to the Human Resources Department. In the event of natural or accidental death of the collaborator, or if he or she became totally and permanently disabled, the insurance company shall compensate the beneficiaries as follows:
