Ever since I can remember, my life has always been related to the world of education My mum is a teacher, and there was always school material, exams or papers to review at home Without thinking about it and without making any connection at all, I finished high school and studied psychology at Universidad de Lima, where I obtained my Bachelor's and Master's Degrees Some years earlier, I started practising in the psychology department of a school and then did my internship For the past 14 years, I have been involved in the world of schools and have worked in secular and religious institutions, all-boys and coeducational schools, in a school specialised in learning disabilities, and both in Lower and Upper School Subsequently, I sought to deepen my knowledge in psychology and education, so I pursued a Master's in Cognition, Learning, and Development at PUCP.
I have always felt excited to work with people, especially with children and teenagers, in emotional, school coexistence and learning settings. I feel it is a context of constant change where challenges never cease and you can never get bored
With great happiness, I join the Newton College family to continue developing myself professionally and personally I also hope to relate positively to this new community by being honest, respecting others, taking on great responsibility, and being empathetic to the thoughts and feelings of the entire educational community

“The Goal is the ending of the Process. The Process is the beginning of Goal.” In my journey as a University Counselor, I've encountered a multitude of questions ranging from applications to majors, universities, and scholarships. Yet, beneath every question lies a common thread - the pursuit of growth in the students. It's crucial to recognise that inside the complexities of university selection and academic pathways, the primary objective is facilitating the correct form of personal development one can get.
That is why, in the vast ocean of information surrounding university choices, from institution profiles to programme specifics and campus cultures, my aim is to provide tailored support that resonates with individual aspirations. Through personalised guidance, I aspire to navigate this pivotal moment alongside students and parents, acknowledging the inherent stress while also celebrating its transformative potential.
My own educational journey has been diverse, encompassing various disciplines and international experiences. This background underscores my belief that there's no universal blueprint for success; each student's path is unique. As they embark on this journey, I emphasise the importance of self-discovery as the foundation upon which informed decisions are built. Let's start working together, shaping a future that reflects the aspirations and potential of the students.
