2014 COMMUNITY DIRECTORY GET YOUR CLUB LISTED IN THE COMMUNITY DIRECTORY Upper Hutt City Council is in the process of updating the Upper Hutt City Community Directory and would like to make sure your sports club has the opportunity to be included. If you would like your organisation to be listed in the Directory, please fill out the online form: www.surveymonkey.com/s/uhdirectory Your club will not be included if we have not heard from you by Friday 19 September. We apologise if you have already completed a survey for your club, however the upcoming survey is key to Activation finding out how our clubs are going with their membership, volunteers, coaches and committees. We are also very keen to see what you would like from us in terms of support and resource. Please keep an eye out for the 2014 Activation Club Survey coming your way!
ACTIVATIONS DOUBLE PAGE SPREAD – THE LEADER The third Wednesday of every month sees Activation’s double page spread in The Leader. The purpose of this is to help support clubs and community groups who are engaging in physical activity to get more Upper Hutt people more active, more often! This is a FREE service from Activation to you. The close off dates to get your information to us here at Activation is the second Wednesday of every month. This gives us time to place the information together. Things to remember if you wish to be included in Activation’s double page spread: Don’t use too many words. In nearly all cases we have to reduce the size of the work that is being given to us to fit.
Be vibrant. Colourful, clear images (high res) is best to make a catchy ad.
Close off dates for information to be received at Activation until December 2014 are: 10 September 8 October 12 November 10 December We can not guarantee your information will be published that month, or be repeated two months in a row.
