All city offices and both centers are closed on Thursday November 24 for Thanksgiving. Have a safe and wonderful holiday. Today you will have the opportunity to meet with experts and connect with dozens of local organizations dedicated to helping seniors. Topics include: Medicare coverage choices, mobility solutions, independent living, veterans benefits, audiology, home care, and more. We will have lunch after the expo at Steve’s Family Dining. DIA and Van Gogh Exhibit Friday November 4, 2022 Join us for a day of beauty, art and culture. During our visit to the DIA today we will first have lunch at one of their 3 different restaurants on site. It is your choice as lunch is on your own. Saline Craft Fair Saturday November 12, 2022 We travel to Saline today for their annual Craft Show. There will be more than 200 crafters & vendors displaying their work for sale. Take your time to stroll among the hundreds of homemade crafts. There will be a $5.00 admission charge at the door. Concessions are onsite for lunch, which will also be on your own. Rochester Light Fest Wednesday November 23, 2022 Today, we will be heading to Downtown Rochester for their Big Bright Light Show. You are invited to brighten your holidays where buildings will be covered with more than 1 million points of glimmering holiday lights. You will have time to shop and walk around the town following dinner at Paul’s On Main Street restaurant. Dinner is on your own. Dress for the weather. Rocky Mountain Christmas Sunday November 27, 2022 First we will stop at Portillo’s for a delicious meal. Lunch is on your own. This restaurant is home to America's favorite Italian beef, burgers, salads, Chicago-style hot dogs, and chocolate cake. After lunch we are off to the Macomb Center for the Performing Arts for Rocky Mountain Christmas, featuring Ted Vigil, a John Denver impersonator. Ted presents terrific Denver favorites like “Christmas for Cowboys” and “Christmas Like a Lullaby,” mixed with a rousing “Fly Away” and many popular Christmas classics like “Jingle Bells” in a far-out and fantastic Christmas concert. We WILL NOT be calling you to see where you are. If you are late, we will be forced to leave you behind. We are on a tight schedule and each stop on the trip is scheduled at a particular time with the businesses. There will not be any refund because we have paid for the number of people that signed up for the trip.
